THESE ARE NOW AN OPEN SPECIES Your Ket must:
-Have a dark, shiny upper jaw (see above color picture)
-Have a brightly colored back fan
-Have a brightly colored inside-of-the-mouth with eyes the complement to that color.
-Have a distinctive chromatophore pattern (pretty much anything you like as long as it isn't a symbol or text or anything. It has to look NATURAL.)
-NOT have any jewelry/sparkedogness unless it is someone's pet or something. They're only about as intelligent as dogs.
-Otherwise, follow the ref!

I was actually considering giving it a lure of some kind. Maybe bioluminescent or pheromonal or both.
I said on the ref their size. 2.5 ft at shoulder, 3.5 ft beak to rump. Border collie size.
They are all a light grey or tan, but they have chromatophores like a cuttlefish that allow them to change between a couple different colors and patterns. [link]
Habitat would be mostly around trees or marshes. Somewhere with insects aplenty and hiding spots. They are preyed upon by larger animals, including Ax Cats and Sand Drakes.
Yes, but only from a very young age and only with more than one Ket. They're very shy of anything larger than them and need to be part of a pack. They'd also be hard to feed, being insectivores.
