This is my first ever digital painting. As in an honest-to-goodness painting with no lines and all digital art. So, considering it's my first, I'm pretty happy with it The picture itself is pretty simple (and I cheated with her closed eyes, ha ha) but I think I got the technique down okay.

I did this entirely with my tablet and openCanvas, with a bit of paintshop to tweak the colors. I must have spent at least 2 hours on the skin alone, probably more. I don't know, I didn't time it. For the whole piece, I'd guess about... 4 and a half hours? The hair took me a while as well... >_> But I'm still happy with it! In fact, it's my desktop background right now.

Alright, now it's time to list all the flaws I know of... I know her neck is too small, her eyes are too far apart (and the lashes look funny), and all that stuff. I also know that the colors aren't the best, but that's because I did it on a laptop and you know how the color is on those things. This is critique discouraged since I spent such a long time on it... Advice on this style of painting is very much appreciated though!

Edit// Okay, I just resubmitted a version of this very same picture... just with some more color. Hopefully it'll look better! It's all the same details, just a bit of color change.
