Wow... that's totally, utterly spectacular. The colours are just beautiful. I love the patterns, the worms in the foreground, the composition, the flow from one element to another. It looks extremely fluid (as is part of your style). I can see where the two months went to!

That is a very tiny dragon... But that doesn't take away from its complexity or awesomeness!
I love how you color things. Always so damn smooth! @_@
Do you use watercolor pencils?

I've noticed that with oceanic critters, even the tiny little things like shrimp and gobis have crazy, delicate patterns all over them.
I never really did like watercolor pencils - they way they blend together isn't *smooth* enough! I'm still using Prismacolor pencils which have a wax base and are very soft. I'm also really heavy-handed with them, so it's almost like sculpting color blends in a very thin layer of clay.

LOL - this one is probably much less trouble than some of its larger brethren. I still don't know that he'd stay in an aquarium very long!

I used a juvenile emperor angelfish as my pattern reference - I love the way their bodies look like the refraction of sunlight beneath the water. But it makes for a very complicated design, that's for sure.
Thanks!

LOL - Yeah, it DID take me long enough... It was more of a challenge that I had expected. Teach me to use green as a base color!
Thanks!

whenever I use a LOT of green, I try to put a bright yellow and tropical reds and orange, and brighter shades of violet and black, though I still think you pulled it off really cool in a way only you could do!

Wow such beautiful colors. *_* Um, where's the second one? Lol I can only find the first one in there. The pattern makes me lose myself in all the color. Very beautiful though. Well done!

There's only one very tangled dragon in there - but it's darned hard to tell with the crazy pattern and overabundance of flippers.
