I was worried about the contrast of the wings and fins with the rest of the body; I don't usually use full-black like this. Personally, I think it might have worked better with dark purple, but I can try that out on the next one of these guys.

Thanks very much! This guy was great fun to do. I find that I can cram in quite a bit of detail, even on this smallish scale. I still want to do another one that's ginormous, but I'm gonna have to clear a calander year to pull it off.
