If the grass in the last panel looks weird, it's because I had to copy-paste it in from another page since this one decided to dislike my tablet at the end when I needed it. :I
In my opinion this is also one of those pages that flows very strangely and seems to jump around. Sorry about that.

I really like how they're both posed in third panel, though not sure why. I guess it's because it's a touching affectionate scene that made me smile, and Tyg look really cool with they way her neck curves and emphasises her impressive regal-looking ruff really nicely. It also shows and compares their contrasting differences like size and colour... yet they're still friends, which is awesome.

It took a lot of work to get that panel right to be honest, though I like how it came out too. Guess you described what I like about it pretty well, too! Also I like the word ruff for Tyg's frills there... I just usually call them frills. I might end up referring to them as a ruff now. I blame you and your extended vocabulary

I can just imagine you redrawing, revising, adjusting the panel until you were happy. The impatience inside of me cringes at the thought, but I can see here that persistence pays off in the end!
Haha thanks, I think I picked up 'ruff' from the Temeraire series of books! I think it might possibly refer to Temmy's spines/webbing that stretches behind his chins and ears, like rather than a neck frill, but I don't bother differentiating between the two when using the term. XD
and I'm not about to go read through it all again for the sake of confirming or denying it, so
On an unrelated note, Strecno showed some more pictures of DH 3 in her recent journals strecno.deviantart.com/journal… though you may have already seen.
Looks like Drago has a somewhat different appearance (in terms of head design) to the dragons in the first two movies.

Ah true, I remember it being mentioned in that series, although I only read the first few books. ^^ But yeah, I'd imagine that's what it refers to more than anything. The backfrill is more just.. well.. a frill or so. xD Either way!

You never really see just how big Tyg is until she's right up against Rusk.
At the moment, it's random words with no structure, unless I manage to make a font for an alphabet that can actually be directly mapped to the English alphabet. I don't exactly have the time or patience to make up a full language even if I'd like to.

While I don't mind fun things like that, I'd honestly prefer if you didn't - Rackie's my sona and basically myself and it'd be strange to see myself projected elsewhere with other characters. Even my other characters I'm a bit iffy about since I'm just so protective of them. I do appreciate the thought and idea but in the end I'd rather you not. Sorry
