For today I'm going back to the abstracts taken in the birch woods of the eastern Sierras. Photos like this are taken by setting your exposure to slightly longer than you would normally use, in this case half a second, and moving the camera up and down during the exposure.

Abstracts arent everyone's cuppa tea to be sure, but I've always enjoyed them and think this might appeal to viewers of a like mind.
