This is a tutorial on how to apply textures but it's not limited to that. I'd like to believe that this tutorial will help not only those learning how to apply textures but to those learning how to use photoshop in general. It's a tad long but believe me it's quite worth reading everything (i learned quite a bit too just by making this tutorial). I hope there's something here for both the seasoned users and those just starting out.

Some other details you should know: By downloading the tutorial you will under no circumstance lift anything from the tutorial (all I ask is that you cite your source--namely me and this tutorial) and pass it off as your own nor will you under any circumstance remove the copyright information embedded into the tutorial.

This tutorial is being entered into =mullybinks Tutorial-making contest aside from being my way to give a little bit of what I've learned back to this community that has so graciously accepted me, supported me, and helped my grow into my skills as a digital artist and photomanipulator (as well as a few other things).

Aside from incorporating parts of my deviation "In the Name of the Clown " and some stock from my private archives into the tutorial I also used the following stock: resurgere , lebstock , tammysue .
