Alright the final art meme for the day. Same template so again here is the blank one: fav.me/daqczvs

Usually I link to original pictures but I'm just gonna simplify it...if you see something here you like check out my gallery to find it XP

January: "Comfort" - This started as a sketch of Paylor. I liked how Luke looked when I drew him into a corner so I drew the rest of him in SAI. He just looks so peaceful and that's probably my favorite thing about the picture.

February: "Childhood Memories" - About my only traditional piece of the year. I was inspired to draw Omega and Medula's four children playing a board game of some kind and I loved it so much I colored it traditionally, with help from my little sis Gem. Nienor was probably my favorite just because I free-handed her pose and pretty much got it right in one shot. It's just a sweet picture showing the kids having a good time. They were probably pre-teen at the time.

March: "Leslie Paylor" - Did Paylor in a similar style to Luke. She's my favorite girl like Luke is my favorite guy...she's simplistic in design but that's what I love about her. Her pose and everything came out really good in this picture too.

April: "Forever, Always" - Loved this picture...the background is my favorite part actually. The water came out so beautiful and the reflection on the water just came out so nice. Still have some work to do on kissing poses but I am still proud of this one. If only I had my star brush and clothes shader at this point of the year XD Gem also helped me with adjustments to the arm. I still have to work on anatomy.

May: "Preston Paylor" - Leslie Paylor's little brother. I decided to try designing him and we even used him in the RP a few times...we just tend to get distracted XD He looks a lot like his big sister.

June: "RP Anniversary: Yinura and Dearou" - Featured Dearou. Akeme and Deannalee will always be very special to us so I decided to include their newest baby...she won't be the youngest for long XP

July: "RP Anniversary: Cia and Lyth" - The twins of Akatosh and his deceased wife, Neeva, now adopted by his new mate, Kyraneth. I didn't have much to pick from for July and I loved how pretty Cia looked with her hair, plus those flowers took awhile to draw, so I thought why not <3

August: "The Price of Failure" - Ugh this picture is part of why I had to do a separate meme for the Luke pictures and regular art. Luke and Justice were also done that month, but I LOVED this picture of Leslie Paylor. It kind of mirrored the picture of Luke from February with her in the position of being left alone, but in reality it's for anyone that was lost, the agony of being left behind and the pain that it leaves in their wake. I discovered my star brush with this picture and was still practicing with the clothing shader, and also started pinning down a good method for Paylor's hair. It was a referenced pose but I just loved how it came out, especially the background, which was entirely just me messing around until this was the result.

September: "RP Anniversary: Danté" - Another child from a couple special to us, Zaheer and Dehlia. This is just their time of year and so we had Danté born around the anniversary of their reunion. He's a sweetie, although I think his baby picture I did of him came out better XD

October: "Happy Halloween 2016" - Keeping with my tradition I drew Aiolus and Moriko for Halloween. This year they dressed up as Tidus and Yuna from FFX. They really came out great, and I love the picture, but man the detail was a killer. Moriko is just looking more and more grow up as the years pass, and it's not really intentional. It's just happened as the years go by when I draw her.

November: "You're Not Broken" - I counted this for October for the Luke Summary, since the sketch was done in October, but since it was colored and finished in November and I had the Halloween picture for October, I just decided to bump it to November. I ADORE this picture, probably my favorite of this year or very close to it. Just the emotion in his face and the beautiful shading and background, I just love it so much <3

December: "Merry Christmas 2016" - Again reused from the Luke Summary. Luke has come a long way...I feel it is probably the best picture I've done of him. I loved using brushes and textures to make this look amazing, and heck I'm even somewhat proud of that tree I painted in XD I'm actually quite proud of his lip...I usually suck at drawing them lol Also I've used stray hairs throughout the year, you may have noticed. Gem taught me those as well. I just feel like this final picture of Luke for this year was a culmination of everything I've learned. I used textures, my star brush, my shading tool for clothes, my new method for making eyes glow, and I've basically just pulled from everything I've learned from previous pictures and this was the result. I'm very happy with it too. I love that present he's carrying. A texture for the paper and the star brush for the glitter was just an amazing combination. A wonderful way to end off the year!!

Alright I think that about wraps it up. Admittedly I could have done more art this year, however I was in Scotland for the first half, and got a job at the end of July and it's kept me busier, plus I've had a ton of video games to catch up with since I got into Assassin's Creed XD However expect the RP children to continue into 2017, and who knows what new artwork will come along XP I do still plan to try and doodle Luke every month just because it's a nice little challenge and it keeps me drawing...and let's face it Luke is my baby lol!
