I was testing out my speed painting skills and managed to whip up a drawing of this Reshiram in about two hours.
Not too bad, except the lineart got kinda sloppy in some places and the background took an extra hour afterward. FMLI think this is the last time I'm going to experiment with painting in Photoshop for a while since the Smudge tool just isn't that intuitive for blending shades to me. Will test SAI and Painter in the future and leave the lineart to Photoshop.

Well, I'd say I feel sorry for it since it's caught in a storm, but on second thought I think it'll be okay without my feeling sorry for it seeing as how it is so far above me that it can literally WALK ON CLOUDS.

Man, as much as I love Photoshop and use it all the time, I find that SAI is definitely the best for extremely smooth shading. ( I have a PC side to my computer mainly for that, though it's nice to have should I ever have to use an .exe for something XD )

I...don't use SAI that often XD Just because I have so much to do on the Mac side. But I like SAI for my more anime-styled stuff, for sure.

That's the same reason I stopped using Photoshop.

SAI is beautiful, but I need to install Windows on my Mac and run it through Parallels or something so it'll recognize pressure sensitivity for my tablet. x_X
Painter is pretty nice, but I can't find any round, non-camel hair brushes that'll let me blend colors the way SAI does. Maybe if they had settings for blending that I could tweak, Iunno.
