Description
A PokΓ©mon bookmark I made for Aki-Con 2011. I stole the measurements from my bro , but we're tabling together so I figured our bookmarks should be the same size.First of all, this is my first time drawing Professor Oak, and I just gotta say: OLD PEOPLE ARE SO CUTE. His baggy pants, his golf shirt, the wrinkles on his face...GUH. Slays me.
I hope this bookmark encourages more PokΓ©mon fans to read books instead of EV train all day. o:<

Professor---!!!! QAQ If I lived closer, I'd head down to Aki-Con and buy 20 of these. I'm sure sticking these in my textbooks would make studying so much more pleasant β₯

And now I feel bad because I breed and EV train a lot...
I'M SORRY I DISAPPOINTED YOU, PROFESSOR.
But I read books too, so that's pretty fair
It's interesting, not many people here draw fan art of him. Which is sad, since he's the hero of our childhood :/

Even if you start the club on your own, I'm not sure you can find many people who might have interest in the old man. Kids these days :/

I'm forgetting how old the first generation is getting... Maybe it could be a joint professors club, from all the regions? That way it's generation-inclusive.

Sounds better! Yeah sometimes I can't believe that the 1st gen came out 13 years ago. It feels just like yesterday. I feel ooooold.

Neato!
I like the neutral color scheme - totally fits Oak.

Thanks! That's what I thought too. I tried it with a few other colors, but they were too vibrant. The colors match the faded pages of old books he probably read for his research.

Or that picture he drew in Pokemon 4Ever.
You're welcome! :3
