Well, here's the group picture I said I'd do with all the next generation Primes together. I included the official art of Sentinel, Optimus, and Rodimus because I didn't really feel like tracing over them for recreation. From Nova to Mammuthus, they're all here.I tried to find out if there were any leaders in between Rodimus and Primal, but for the life of me, I couldn't really find anyone. At least, no official Matrix-bearers anyway.
Now that I've completed the Primes (both ancient and recent), I'm done with Prime characters for a while. Up next, I'm going to take a crack at the Titans, starting with the original city former himself, Metroplex!

I can't find anything on Infinitus Prime. Where does he fall in the timeline?

He's based on IDW Sentinel Prime, who turned out to be a Titan Master named Infinitus.

Ever since he was introduced in IDW’s comic back in 2007, it’s been a recurring pattern with Sentinel - “Do the same thing, but more extreme.” The current IDW comics have actually decided to break away from that by presenting Sentinel as not a villain, and while he’s definitely temperamental, he’s more heroic this time around.

Theres also Primon(i.e.The Alpha Prime & oldest) and Guardian Prime who apparently found the Autobot cause in Dreamwave.

I’d say it’s more of a “depending on the author” kind of deal.

Kinda gets with the "mysterious" Vector Sigma & Oracle.

I think the idea is that these characters and whatnot think and operate on a different level than mortal beings, and a lot of them see a bigger picture than the mortals do.

I think things like the Oracle and Sigma should be the subconscious' of Primus or the equivalents of his spark & brain module. As for gods seeing the bigger picture I dunno since these gods act high & mighty while not doing crap.

That part makes sense.
As for the gods, not all of them act that way, and some of them have stated reasons for not being actively involved in conflicts. For example, Primus didn’t fight Unicron again because he knew that it would only result in another stalemate, making history repeat itself due to their equal power. Plus, if he hadn’t taken himself out of the fight, the Transformers might not exist.

In Transformers Legends Comic: Bonus Edition Vol. EX (Big Blue Convoy) after the ending of BM, The Oracle/Vector Sigma creates "Convoy Type" Maximals, named & patterned after Primal in honor of his memory, and even end up as Cybertron's hierarchy.

Well, in the Animated universe, his name is Primal Major, not Optimus Primal, but he is based on the BW leader.

In other words they crapped all over Rodimus and pushed him to the side. They basically made him into a joke. Not exactly paying respectful homage to a character who hasn't been touched in ages.

Mostly I think it’s because he’s still a bit of a sore topic for a lot fans. That’s due to them blaming him for Optimus’ death in the original G1 movie.

Oh trust me, I'm well aware of the fact that Rodimus is loved by some, and hated by many. But whatever. To each their own. Personally, I'm LONG past that now. Granted, I was mad at him at one time for what happened to Optimus. But that anger is no more. Its been well over 30 years now since the original animated movie was released. And besides, since then, Optimus has gotten way more attention than Rodimus ever has. I mean we all know that Optimus is the face of the Transformers franchise. And I respect that. Because to tell you the truth, Optimus is one of my childhood heroes. But even so, Rodimus still has his fans. I have speculated that modern day animators and writers simply refuse to acknowledge Rodimus' existence. But honestly, I think they could make a better effort to shine a more positive light on him. But people do what they want to do. Say what you will. But I think Rodimus deserves better.
But on the other hand, the comics have treated Rodimus a whole lot better. In fact, the comics did him better justice than Animated ever has.
