Comission for Shiribot , illustrating a scene from her fanfic. Broadcast and Scorponok in an awkward moment in a fight.
I hesitated to put this up because I’m not really happy with the background, but since I got miserably sick and don’t know when I’ll get to tweaking it, and it’s long overdue, I’m posting it here and now and I’ll update it when I get the chance. That’s supposed to be the ceiling grate Scorponok came through on the floor under him.
This was an experiment in a new style of digital painting for me, I allowed myself to show the brushwork and make it look painterly, to offset the rigid mechanical lines. I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out.
