I'm afraid haven't had much of anything to post lately, not that anybody gives a crap, but here are some doodles and whatnot from the past few months, including a couple inspired by the sci-fi-themed comic I'll probably never do.

Because I don't want people thinking I'm some kind of creep, I just want to clarify for the record that I generally don't stare at random women out in public, but this (goth?) girl I saw in the used bookstore was dressed so outrageously, I'd be lying if I said she didn't make an impression. It wasn't necessarily even a prurient interest... my first glimpse of the top of her head over the bookshelf was so fleeting that I wasn't even certain whether she was male or female, but that was just enough for me to have the weird thought that I'd just seen someone who had stepped out of an alternate reality. Of course I had to try to sketch her as soon as I got back to my car, but I'd been so worried about not wanting to be rude that I'd only allowed myself a couple incredibly cautious glances in her direction, so I undoubtedly got some details wrong.
