Tried my hand at an epic pixel piece. Inspired by this lovely work: [link]So, I really wanted to make something simple but powerful. Because with the huge spectrum of differences among Sonic fans, things get really muddled up and drama-tastic. So here's something I hope every fan can enjoy. I really wanted to give the emerald justice as the mysterious, powerful thing that it is. Hope I succeeded!
My favorite version of Sonic's ever-changing design is from Sonic CD, during the animated scenes, because of the simple and charming design. [link]

I won't lie here, I'm one of those Sonic fans that is open to all versions of Sonic, but the CD Sonic is definitely close to being my fav.

But is powerful! The colors are beautyful. The pose of Sonic and the green smoke/light are so dynamic!
