some quick TF fanart this morning. i had this image in my head and wanted to see it better.i tried for a Jae Lee style with the over exaggerated shadows from his TF/G.I.Joe WW2 comics.
so yeah, go childhood.

I can't even start to describe how many feelings this bring to me
sentient robots are my life, it was only natural I got into Transformers
but the "thing" with Transformers is that you sometimes forget that they are, in fact, sentient robots
your piece put that fact right back in our face and it's done in an uneasy almost violent way that reminds me of the fear of machines some have
very interesting piece!!

Noticed you say "Jae lee" style, so I looked it up. I thought it a shame how you seem to see or saw it as "jae lee" style, as when I see Jae's work, it looks not similar to yours. I can see where you get the inspiration from, but I would not have drawn a connection if you had not said anything. I think your take on the "high contrast" thing looks drastically different (and much more appealing too)

Heh, I guess I was simply inspired. But my knowledge of high contrast artists hasn't really developed past Mr. Lee unfortunately, and he did make an impact on my art. (yes this sounds extremely shallow,yes I should branch out more). But, thank you. I should drop that connection and just use my high contrast style as my own, not some interpretation from a style I idolized.
