Description
These genetics are for an original species called Lekanick . Most of their genes are based off of ones found in dogs and horses, but they are not exactly the same.

You can only get mutated alleles from breeding lekanicks with MP. Mutated alleles are written in teal in the chart above. For more information about mutations and MP read this journal .

Giant Mask
Giant Mask (Eg) is a mutation of Mask (Em).

Eg mixes with Em and Ef. Eg is dominate to E, es, ep, e, and ea.

A giant mask is simply an even larger mask. They are not affected by graying.

Feet Mask
Feet Mask (Ef) is a mutation of Mask (Em).

Ef mixes with Em and Eg. Ef is dominate to E, es, ep, and e.

This gene causes a mask of black pigment to cover the lekanick's feet. When it's combined with Em or Eg it can resemble a bay. Feet masks are not affected by graying.

Sepia
Sepia (es) is a mutation of Recessive Red (e).

es is recessive to Eg, Em, Ef, and E. es mixes with e and ep. es is dominate to ea.

Sepia is a version of the Colorpoint markings found in cats. It's a form of albinism that restricts pigment based on body temperature. The points of the creature (ears, snout, feet, and tail) are colored normally, and the rest of the body is lighter. Lekanicks with a large amount of tail or feet feathering will be lighter in those areas than those without feathering. Because the color changes with temperature the body is lightest in the summer and darker in the winter. They are also born white and get darker with age.

Point
Point (ep) is a mutation of Sepia (es).

ep is recessive to Eg, Em, Ef, and E. ep mixes with e and es. ep is dominate to ea.

Point is a more extreme version of Sepia. Both alleles combined (esep) is called Mink.

Albino
Albino (ea) is a mutation of Recessive Red (e).

ea is recessive to all other alleles.

Albino keeps any pigment from being expressed in the lekanicks fur. The lekanick's nose and skin will be light pink. It's hooves will be white and they won't have any stripes. Because lekanick's eyes use completely different pigment thay are not affected.
