XANA has dealt Team Lyoko their most chilling blow yet: he has materialized them into the real world... and I do mean the REAL world, where their fans are! They now have to escape their fans and get back to Kadic and Lyoko in order to stop whatever XANA's up to. Considering that Aelita's not with them, the thought of what XANA might be up to is chilling indeed...This is inspired by a clip from the movie A Hard Day's Night starring The Beatles. I want to see that movie someday before I die...
The colouring of the mob of fans is rather bad; sorry 'bout that...

First of all, I'm seeing this for the first time, and in colour.
Great idea of capturing the Beatles video, indeed a grea idea, can't deny that. But your Yumi and Ulrich really scares the hell outta me. Ulrich seems like a midget to me on that pic. At least, you try drawing. I swear I would have done worse than you.
Btw, what does it exactly says on the green door? I swear I almost read "Richard Harris" for a moment. Seems more like Richard Haru....

About Ulrich's height... he had tripped and is just about to hit the ground hands and knees first. IIRC, one of the Beatles tripped and fell during the opening credits of A Hard Day's Night, probably right when they showed the title of the movie...
The sign on the second shop should say "Richard's Hardware", but Yumi's head is in the way of the rest of it. I was just thinking of random names for shops (like Salmson's Jewellers...); it wasn't supposed to be a tribute to the great actor (and not-so-great singer) Richard Harris. I did the signs with MSPaint, using its text box and stretch/skew functions.

Well, thanks for the words, Sam. Didn't knew Richard Harris tried singing, I barely know (not a big fan of watching old things, btw, makes me feel old sometimes) that he was Dumbledore, he was from the UK, he won an Oscar, and then he died at old age.
Now I know a little more about the Ulrich part, but he stills seems strangely like a midget with abruptly shorten legs to me.

I have not seen A Hard Day's Night, but I've love to! I think I saw this clip from the opening credits in a documentary about the Beatles. They were great at times, they were WIERD at times, but they were never afraid of being wierd, which is probably why I like "Wild Honey Pie" a lot more than I should (... not really; I like "Wild Honey Pie" because it's Pythonically silly! I could imagine Terry Gilliam doing a Python-style animation as a music video for that song!)

Considering that A Hard Day's Night is a black & white movie, maybe I should do this in grayscale like "Crossover?". Definitely something to consider.

I have decided against doing this picture in b/w, at least not completely. The background may be in b/w but I've started to colour the main characters. Hair & clothes first, and then skin.
I have done the hair and clothes of Jeremy and Yumi. Ulrich's next, and then the major colouring challenge: ODD! I've drawn Odd before, but he was in his underwear then. Pink T-shirt with Kiwi logo + boxers are a relative snap compared with his regular outfit. I know the jacket and pants are purple and black, but which parts are purple and which are black is beyond me at this time...
