My half of an art trade with . The real deal! Hope she likes it!This is the second picture based on my sketch of ~Mahira-chan 's Lyoko form (as I envision it...
) I posted the first one, which was finished in coloured pencil, scanned, and CG-edited a bit as "NOT Mahira-chan's Trade Pic" [link] . It was supposed to be in the Polar Region and I set it in the Desert Region instead... brain fade, I guess...Fortunately, I had scanned the sketch before I started to colour it (lesson learned from hard experience...) and I went back, not to the drawing board, but to that scan of the sketch, and coloured the whole thing with ArcSoft PhotoImpression. This is supposed to be the finished version, but I'll change whatever Mahira wants changed.
Mahira-chan portrays herself as a humanoid kitsune with one tail. I have portrayed her Lyoko form as a vulpine kitsune with three tails.
Powers: Illusion - can appear to be where she is not, can appear not to be where she is, and can project multiple images of herself. Note: These are images without substance, not clones capable of attack as in Ulrich's "triplicate" function). Power not shown here.
Weapons: Sharp teeth and claws. Also a mallet that can be virtualized at will (not shown here).

Really cool concept, more of an animal like characteristic for the character rather than a human. That's thinking outside of the box.

The explosion of the Krab...well, I took the concept of the coloured pencil drawing, and then added to it, and then smudged it out with PhotoImpression's smudge tool, worked around the things that weren't to be smudged... and then I took a look at it and was almost as blown away as the Krab! I didn't realize what I had until then...For the next half hour the thought "Blowing stuff up is COOL!" kept running through my mind (yeah, I'm a dork!

P.S.: As for Odd... well, the Krab had to be shooting at someone, so I set up Odd the way I did the fans in "Hard Day..."

Well you know this is the most refined work ive seen yet. Though in the real code lyoko show, this character wouldn't have a card making her into an actual animal but it's a good concept design.

Yes, real CL characters would definitely be humanoid (like Odd, the least so in the series), but... I don't know, it was just an idea that came to me from the concept of kitsune.
