Description
The peacock at Hope Zoo. I guess he wasn't in the mood to spread his tail feathers out.Interesting that, among birds, it is usually the male that attracts the female by being pretty.

Would that mean that most birds are Metrosexual?
Yeah that was bad.
I rather like peacocks though...except for the call they make, which I find really creepy for some reason.

I have no idea.
I've never heard their call, which is probably a good thing.
I wonder how they taste. I know Eastern royalty used to eat them in feasts on special occasions..

It's weird...it sounds almost like a human's call for "Help"...although it sounds more like "Halp". It's probably just me though. XD;
*blinks* Good question...I guess they wouldn't taste like chicken... X)

Ah.
Probably not. Maybe not much like turkey either... I have no idea what pheasant tastes like, nor quail. Ever eaten them?

Nope. Chicken and Turkey are pretty much the only birds I've ever eaten.

I think I had duck once, and I don't remember it to be a pleasant experience. That might have been how it was cooked or prepared, though.
Apart from that, chicken and turkey myself. Turkey is bland compared to chicken IIRC; I don't eat turkey often.

I've never had duck myself. I prefer turkey to chicken...but that's because it's bland. XD; For some reason, I have really bland tastes. ^^
Heh...and sorry this reply is so late.

I'll put garlic in anything I cook, so...
No problem (How could there be, with all the late replies I've given?
)

mhm. Same thing in Animes. XD Pretty males that is. We have one of these birds in the park where I live. I've seen him spread his feathers once. Beautiful.

Yes, but do the pretty males in anime attract females, or other males?
Indeed, I'm sure it would be! I think I saw it once, long ago.
