Description
Farley Hill was a Great House, i.e. a plantation-owner's house. It is now a ruin of a Great House. The grounds of what was the Farley Hill Great House is now a national park in Barbados.Farley Hill is open to the public free of cost, but the parking lot at Farley Hill is not. This did not matter much to me, as I took the bus there.
The park is a lovely place with beautiful views of either the northwest or the northeast coast of Barbados depending on where in the park one stands.
I'm not sure why there are trash bins all over the place in this shot. This may have been the work of the monkeys from the wildlife reserve across the street. I actually saw monkeys at Farley Hill, but I didn't get the chance to photograph any... at least , not at Farley Hill!
