Bahah yeah. I have a bunch of broken stuff in there. The water shader derped on me because of scaling issues, I forgot to turn physics on for a bunch of my driftwood, and theres a few holes in the map the player can escape through.

Gah putting in collision so the player couldn't escape through things was the worst! I had one of the class mates play test mine to minutes later I turn around to see him at the top point a building that was not meant to be reachable because you can see all the bits that just get cut off and down into the abyss below the town haha.
All the little bug testing is a pain but its still really amazing I love the style and how the landscape looks! It looks real which is good!

I have collision but I missed a few spots where players can jump up some of the rocks. Just needed to throw another rock in there and keep em trapped.

Haha yeah. Weirdly enough I like bug testing. Still trying to make connections so I can get in somewhere as an entry level QA. Want to see how other studios approach stuff.

Thanks!

Ahh I get what you mean, yeah its good to know how they get in or out.

Yeah understanding how bugs are formed and ways to go about fixing them is always really interesting, can be as extreme as redoing an item of simply messing around with the physics of an object. We are yet to look deeply into studio stuff. Its kinda hard there is only indie companys left in Australia. No triple a title places so no big companys to look at only small things who dont want student poking around unless they are willing to work for free to do so haha.

Yeah there isn't a whole lot over there from what I understand. Especially now that 2kAustralia is gone...  I hope you can find something or be willing to leave for greener pastures.

Yeah there is a few animation companys, like plastic wax but the gaming industry is all indie games mostly mobile games, but out teachers are throwing the really good students to contacts over in England Canada and Switzerland. Im not quiet good enough for those spots so I have to really work hard. Scared to move over seas though well not scared just all those places are cold haha Im an Auzzie Imma freeze my tits off out there haha.

Yeah I was really sad when 2k went under here I had job scouters from there that liked my work ahh.
But all in all still got till the year ends to worry about that. Jeeze so soon.
