I carved and cast it in sterling silver. It is a replica of one of the Nazgul Rings of Power from the Lord of the Rings. The stone is not my first choice, but I can replace it if I find a better one.EDIT March 18, 2012: I have recently been casting this ring in resin..

I am trying to make the same ring in my Jewelry class. I messed up on the first one but I got it to look good. But amd trying again to make it... better than the last one.

I'm trying! you know what? yesterday I had my first normal meal! - boiled potatoes, fresh cooked home-grown green beans, and porcupine balls. It was almost the most amazing thing that has happened to me lately. so, hopefully soon.
