Description
The seasoned fighter takes Sawaya and Yumiko into the cage for some training. At first, they are both clearly anxious about being inside a metal cage where vicious combat takes place. But as Xhi Suzuki continues to chat with them, they relax and become more comfortable with their surroundings.

Yumiko goes first, learning some techniques from Xhi while her mother watches intently, trying to soak up as much information as possible. The young woman is tentative initially, but as Xhi repeats moves again and again, it is clear that Yumiko is learning and gradually becoming more confident.

Eventually, Xhi asks Yumiko to demonstrate what she has learned. The tutor steps behind the young woman and grabs her with both arms. Yumiko pauses briefly, and then goes to work, applying the techniques Xhi has taught her to begin working her way free from her attacker.

Sawaya looks on and beams with pride as she encourages her daughter, “Yes! Good girl! Way to go!”
