at school. i sang in front of my class. it's called "emotions through music" and i sang the mand who can't be moved by the script and they all applauded. i felt so happy, i thought i was going to burst.

the grin was that from your discription being sick just gets in the way of what you would rather be doing...when i'm not feeling well (such as migrain headaches) i just want to get away from everyone until they subside...does not happen that often (the headaches) but they are not fun to deal with

no, i didn't make the food, but if dishes are used that have just been washed and not rinsed and dried throughly
it does not take much residue to make you sick...you may not even taste anything wrong if you are eating something
spicy (which i tend to do)

well, still food poisoning. that's the one thing i hate about restaurants, i never know if they really wash the plates or just lick them clean. my friend got food poisoning as well, ate a lot of pink things. this is why pink is a horrible color

i like to cook, especially when it relates to making pizza. Sour dough bread gets it unique flavors from the enviroment from which it is allowed to develop. sometimes these flavors are excellent and become famous (such as san fransisco sourdough bread)and the yeast culture from which they come from are kept alive for decades (or longer). however, there are some forms of yeast that can be found in nature (or in old buildings) that are pretty nasty tasting (if not unsafe to eat) some of these form a pink color (not sure why this is the case (but will find out if you want to know) there are a few things that could have caused the food posioning, one of them being that the chicken might have been undercooked or that the oil used might have been -olestra- which is a type of low fat cooking oil that some people have reactions to (not sure how many places still use it...i know it was used for a time in food service. the pink lemonade (if it was made from a mix) could have been made in a container that still had a residue of soap or sanitizer in it (if the lemonade was very sweet you might not be able to taste anything wrong) in fact, artificial sweetener could be the problem itself (i never (knowingly) use the stuff after reading about it) the ice cream could have included eggs as an ingredient so that could have been a factor if we are talking about salmonella. the pop rocks could have picked up a trace of hand sanitizer while being eaten...(food dyes are one of many things i'd rather avoid eating ( [link] ) hope this has been helpful (albeit a bit long winded and rambling)

well thank you for the information! really! this is a lot if information and i will let her know. i don't like to cook unless im really hungry. im more interested in cutting things open and poking at innards. it all started when i dissected a fish and poked at its' earsacs. man, that was the best. my sister is the cook and i am the semi rational/irrational thinker.

crazy is subjective...if you are relying on the sanity of others as your baseline for your own sanity,
who is to say that you are the one who is actually sane while those who are judging you are the ones
who are the real loonies.

exactly. knowing what you want to say and choosing to sculpt the texture and tone of your argument (if you are in fact having one) with enough foresight to prevent needless complications and reduces the depth of the verbal wounds inflicted (i tend to avoid arguments (if possible) which drives those who want to argue crazy...(which, in a way, is the whole point) and yes, i do consider you rather witty and highly intelligent.

it's always prudent to be aware of how your words will effect the events that have not yet taken place. ripples in a pond may be small but they can travel a great distance and intersect many other events or lives

yes, it would be difficult for me to knowingly cause (or add to)someone else's emotional pain; but second guessing everything you do is not very helpful either. the dynamics of any relationship you find yourself in (voluntary (such as a close friendship) or family (involuntary (for better or worse) are complicated (obviously). trust, respect and yes love all play a part in how you react (or choose not to). i may be just repeating myself now, but being there for someone may be what is needed most, not out of guilt but because you truly care what happens to the other person.

ScottMan2th In reply to Jay-niisouleater [2012-05-12 18:44:13 +0000 UTC]
i'll do what i can. not knowing the exact nature (and severity)of the drama does limit what i can (or could) suggest.
however, from what you've said it is apparent that you (as her friend) can see the path she is on is not a very good or
healthy one (emotionally, physically and even spiritually); this in turn (because you really care about her well being)
also causes you to want what is best for her, but you are also afraid that being as direct as the situation might call for
she might over-react and isolate herself even further than she might be slipping...you need to let her know that she can
trust you (i'm sure she already does, but saying it again to her out loud (not as a text) may be very helpful and comforting)
hope this helps you in some small way
