Like a webomic? All you have to do is resize it to half the image's size once you're done, then repeat, so you don't have to get the screwy moire effect.

Oh my god you are a genius!
I just tried this to a forest setting and it looks beautiful!
I had to make the image lighter though since it was a really dark picture but I was absolutely amazed at how great it looked at the end!
And I just learned about Photoshop actions because of this...
