Yes, it was one of my favorites. People think I'm making fun of it with this comic but it's really meant to come across as me making childish fan fiction

Untrue. People always blame newer shows for the cancellation of older shows, but it honestly doesn't ever work that way; shows are cancelled for many complex reasons, but making room for another new show is definitely not one of them, especially when the network has no idea if the new upcoming show will do well at all.
In fact, the creators of Chowder and Flapjack are friends with the creator of Adventure Time and have all helped out on one another's shows.

Actually, Snyder deliberately wanted these shows purged because he wanted to cash in on Adventure Time and make it into a cash cow by its own factors of unstated appeal. this is how they knew it would be an instant hit, especially if the producers were willing to sacrifice production of their own shows for it.

the day they canceled that gunk was one of the best days in history. Lets just hope they got enough sense to rid the network of this new GARBAGE.

Wow you totally, totally misunderstood this.
I loved Chowder, why else would I make a silly comic about it? It was creative, unique, weird, sweet and fun. The dialog could get hilarious at times, it was set in an imaginative fantasy world that didn't look like anything else, it had a fun and original premise, everything about it was lovable.
So was Flapjack, and I can't believe they canned either of them.
What new garbage? Annoying Orange is garbage, yeah, but nothing else they've put out recently is offensively awful. Adventure time has some of the most beautiful art, directing and writing in the network's history, second only to Courage: The Cowardly Dog if you ask me
Why not lighten up? I honestly don't think almost ANY cartoon has ever been "bad." I'm not sure how people can be picky enough to hate a mere TV show, it's not healthy.

You call Adventure Time a work of art? oh,-well, we all got our own drummers drumming. But more to the point, I ain't trying to stomp on your thoughts.
Its just that from my view, shows such as chowder, flapjack, AT, Gumball and regular show, as well as that dip orange, -they just ain't got the same, same,- quality as the ones that came before.
Heck, -you mentioned Courage the Cowardly dog. That show's one of the last of the cartoons that had the pep.

Adventure Time has beautiful backgrounds and appealing character design; just because something is simple doesn't mean it's a bad drawing, simple art drove Dexter, Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack and others.
I'm just not really capable of strongly disliking a cartoon, though I do get tired of the common generic anime style used over and over...

Chowder is cancelled, the creator of Chowder talked about it last year and no longer works for Cartoon Network. "Cancelled" means that they aren't making new episodes anymore, but the show is still on TV and they still have some new episodes they haven't shown yet. After that there won't be any new ones
I drew this comic to mock Cartoon Network for cancelling it, and it is drawn completely different from my other pictures, so yeah, it's kinda rude to only comment on ONE thing I've ever made to say it's "dumb."
When you dislike something on Deviantart, you're not supposed to comment and say so. You just ignore it. If you bother to comment just to call something stupid or crappy, then yeah, you do look mean.

"Canceled" usually means the show is still in reruns, but new ones aren't being worked on anymore. When it's both cancelled and no longer being rerun, it's "off air"

Um, I do know the difference and told you the difference. Canceled ONLY means that they aren't making new episodes, it doesn't mean the show isn't playing anymore. Canceled shows can keep playing forever, they're still canceled.

Cartoon Network always announces a show as on "hiatus" instead of cancelled, but it's the same thing. The creator of Chowder no longer works for Cartoon Network, the offices that made Chowder were emptied out, everyone who had anything to do with it got different jobs and even if they wanted to, there's no starting the show up again :/

Well, I wouldn't say it's their only good one, I also love Flapjack and Adventure Time, but these things are always just about money, sponsors and ratings. Chowder didn't get the ratings the higher-ups wanted with the right groups of people, and advertisers weren't interested enough in it. It's not really anything that can be prevented really, even networks don't fully control what they can keep and what they get rid of.

I can understand why someone would like it, it was very unique and all, just wasn't my thing. Sucks that it got canceled though. It will probably be replaced by some half-assed, cliche cartoon for idiot children. Such is life..

It was specifically cancelled during the network's move to what they called "broader" programming with the addition of live action children's reality shows. These shows have already tanked and gotten cancelled though, and their new upcoming cartoons actually look really nice, a mix of weird, diverse, experimental stuff.

Figures, nobody wants to watch live action on Cartoon Network. But it makes sense that there's a niche that people are watching that they aren't exploiting that they'll go after.
