Description
As my last winter-picture was one of my fastest - this is my fastest picture i've done so far. I think it turned out quite well. Took me about 2 hours. You can find a time lapse of the painting process here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=j47dOS…

Those winter scenes are always a challenge, for me, with the lighting and sharp contrast. You have done a fantastic job! I feel like I feel like I have passed through this place. It is a comforting view, because it demonstrates that life has recently passed through as well. It is a scene of "hope and home!"
Well done!

Hehe, Thank You!!
If I paint winter landscapes i start with a dark brown or blue. I don't use white until the general landscape is set up. That strategy makes it quite easy

You are most welcome!
You use the "oil paint" method of dark building to light. Well done!
