Your work is really beautiful and quite unique (at least so far that I've seen amongst all the millions of works I *haven't* seen )

Very impressive. I'm thinking this took like..what?...forever to do?

The light red and green in the background helps bring out the color of the flowers. Nice touch. Lighting is excellent.

This series looks very, very marketable to me.

Thanks.

So far I have been placing the imported images into existing fractals so it hasn't taken too long.

These things are hard to print (imported images don't have infinate resolution) so I down know how marketable that they are

Are you shooting the images yourself? And does Bring It In have a problem with large image files? (I really need to become familiar with that utility).

At the least, this would be good material for greeting card companies.

Yes, I am shooting the pictures.

The bottleneck is your RAM. The UCL that bring it in creates has an array in it that contains the color value for each pixel of the image. The larger the image, the larger the array and the more RAM that is used. It's not like flame RAM though, which is used at calculation time. This RAM is used while the fractal file is loaded in UF, while you are working on it. You need to find an optimum image size to import. I haven't gone larger than 300 in the largest dimension

I need to play with it. I just tried it on a 100x100 jpg. Quick to create UCL, but when applied it took longer than I wanted to wait at the moment (waited all of about 30 seconds, then I just closed UF, lol...) And I'm using 3 gig of ddr 400...

I remember some list discussions about the program, so I'll go back in my archives this evening.

Either way, the work you are doing is very nice. Unique and well done. Keep it up.
