heh, people in photography always do everything to remove the disturbing noise, and people in digital art - CG, always put there some, to achieve a look like a real photo...
interesting

You were never going to upload this?
Dude. Seriously.
The noise is bothersome but the concept rapes ne problems out of the picture!

Awesome stuff (Y)
I have ACAD, C4D, 3DS 09, Rhino n Sketchup on my comp atm.
Only ever used ACAD n Sketchup
But VRAY for that was REALLY powerful, so im thinking for PROPER 3D software's it must be a typhoon in terms of performance.

it just does rendering, I use 3dsmax for making models etc

Yeah i know
But its powerful rendering thats wat im saying.
3D max is a doozy.
I had to make a simple, no materials facade of a house for an assignment n i ended up giving up n making it on CAD!

Again.. GI rulez!
Nice one.
About the grain/moise.
It reminds me on the LightTracer in 3D Max.
When set to low settings...
It makes then a weird compromise
between speed and artistic feel...
Best

Dude! Thats awesome!
The grain is a nice effect, it reminds me of those documentary's where they show the inside of the lung.
It also reminds me of The Downward Spiral - Nine Inch Nails... Although it's hard to tell if it's a spiral.

Bloody impressive render, this really does look like a moody macro photograph. The grain truly does look great in this image, you've done it again!

I can't agree. I think the grainy look makes it very cool. It gives and intriguing dimension to the image - more than sharp edges that's for sure...

in my opinion the grain is what makes this interesting! i think it adds a lot to this "photo feeling" mainly achieved by the great dof.
i ike it a lot!

I'd like to know how you are doing these wired mesh renders... Do you just use splines?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
sentimentalfreak In reply to JoKeR0720 [2006-10-10 15:11:43 +0000 UTC]
particles really, the splines just show thier path
