Say this is a SUF and SJ plot. You don’t have to do it, but just hear me out.
Steven fell the same path as Jack, falling down a deep depressions, loosing his Gem powers, seeing two sides of his personality, one looks like Steven Universe Future version only blood red and giving bad advice, while his other side still like SUF only pink and is giving helpful advice, (think like a metaphysical of his yin and yang or the little angel and devil on your shoulders). He’s even grew older, and has muttonchops and long hair.
Meanwhile Connie is part of the resistance against Aku, Steven did what Jack did and became a roaming warrior, Steven rides on Lion while wearing Knight armor, and helps out as best as he can. But like Jack he would suffer PTSD, seeing visions of the CGs, the Diamonds even Pink every now and again.
When the Daughters of Aku were sent to kill him, he got his ass spanked. So he fights them with everything he has fire firearms, to close range weapons, till he’s found by Connie and the resistance. Connie’s mom tends his wounds he’s been in a coma for three weeks.
When he realizes he’s been running from himself for too long he goes on a spiritual journey meeting the monk, and Steven preforms the tea Ceremony. He did it right enough, even the tea, but the monk stated it was terrible stating he required balance.
Yang Steven: “That’s a bunch of Fortune-cookie nonsense.”
Steven: “Please I need to regain my powers. You must show me how.”
Monk: “I cannot. That is something you must earn.”
Yang Steven: “Earn?! After everything we’ve done?! Everything we been through?! The death, the loss, the suffering! Who are you to deny what’s rightfully ours?!”
Steven: “No! We lost our powers because of you.”
Yang Steven: “I kept us alive!”
Yin Steven: “No. You kept yourself alive. You needed Steven for a host. And you blame our mother for our problems.”
Yang Steven: “Why shouldn’t I?! She abandoned us! She left all her problems on us!”
Steven: “No. She didn’t abandoned us. She gave us life, but she didn’t see any of her problems came back to haunt us.”
Yin Steven: “He’s right. It’s been six thousand years, Homeworld had plenty of opportunity to come early. But you just use mother as an escape goat. You don’t take responsibility.”
Yang Steven: “You’re both in my way!” He smacks them both into the wall.
Steven: “You. You kept both the past and future hidden. Your anger, your frustration. You blinded us. But now we can see.” Steven’s eyes glow pink forcing the yang side back into Steven.
Yang Steven: “Yoooouuuu neeeeeeed meeeeeee!”
Steven: “And you. You tried to tell me, but I wouldn’t listen. But now I will listen. Ye who was blind and deaf can now see and hear.”
Yin Steven: “Good. I will return into you to keep the darkness in you balance.” So the Yin Steven fades returning into Steven’s body.
The Monk: “Now, you are balanced.”
Steven stood in space before the gods.
Odin: “You like Jack and his father before ye’, have been chosen.”
Ra: “To stop an ancient evil.”
Shiva: “You are worthy.”
So a beam of light from all the gods’ eyes shoot onto Steven, making him reborn. Steven wearing his Steven Universe future theme cloths (only as an adult in his late twenties, as if his true age finally caught up with him), with his Gem shield in hand and his mother’s old sword.
Steven then returns to the daughter of Aku, and as he sits he tells them to leave peacefully but they will not rest till he and Samurai Jack is dead. So Steven unleashes hell on them using moves, Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst, Peridot, Lapis, Bismuth, even Jasper taught him. In the end he defeated/killed all but Ashi.

Also I forgot to add this, where Steven says to the Daughters “You’re not people. You’re nothing more than a bunch of maniacs. I’m not afraid of you, there’s no Aku, no one to give you orders. Just good old fashioned one on six fight.”
Say, do you think Steven would go crazy, and his SUF version of himself would split into teo forms one yin, one yang?

In Future he hasn’t gone insane he’s dealing with Trauma, those are two very different things
Even when he goes “mad” he’s just scared, confused and angry, he doesn’t mean any harm to anyone so no he wouldn’t act that way you’ve depicted!
Ya have to remember that Steven Universe and Future are full of Metaphors and once you know those metaphors it becomes easier to predict how the story, characters and powers work
You’re basically trying to turn Steven into season 5’s Samurai Jack but that’s not Steven
My “Old Man Steven” from my comic (if you actually read it) had his own issues but was still Steven, but he wasn’t crazy, he was still Steven just gone down the wrong path and it was thanks to “Gem Steven” that he found himself again
But you’re story feels like it’s trying a bit too hard to make Steven something that he is not

Well, I was just trying to get Steven to experience what he lost. And Steven does get a chance of redemption. And yeah, he’s experiencing season 5 Samurai Jack.
But my version he has hair, mutton chops (going for that instead of a beard being more original like he became a clean shaver). And wears a knight armor.

And I didn’t say he was crazy at least not in the traditional meaning, more like suffering trauma, and his yin and yang took a physical Manifestation, that only he can see.

The minions would be no problem but honestly the only ones I think that stand a chance in your group are probably the superheroes like the Avengers and Justice League since they’ve experienced fighting demons similar to Aku, Maybe Optimus Prime’s matrix could hurt Aku for the same reason Jack and Rose’s swords could

Say changing the daughters of Aku, the go after Jack, while some organic/Gem hybrids go after Steven. I’m not talking just humans i mean other alien species.
Also here’s something you’ll like, we both know Jasper’s bit of a tight ass, and a b... but imagine if she was fighting the daughters of Aku, and the one who uses knives hit Steven in the shoulder, not enough for him to die but still can bleed to death.
So when Jasper found the daughter, she and the daughter get into a fight, and when she crosses her blades into an x, Jasper grabs the blades bring her up close and punches repeatedly breaking the mask in the process, till she stops and says “You tried to kill Steven, your ass is mine!” The last one sends her flying.
And if the daughters, their mom and many warriors Demongo has, send to kill innocent civilians, Jasper is hooded seeing many difference species not just human civilians all scared. Some guards held off the undead warriors, till Jasper unleashes hell, by using two M16s with extended rounds. She goes Rambo, Terminator, Robocop and Skurge on their asses, till she ran out, she summons her helmet headbutting one of the daughters of Aku and a few warriors.

I like the samurai universe, it’s a nice blend.
As for how Steven lost his powers, the trauma and being corrupted (in the upcoming “I’m my own monster) Steven decides not to use his powers and over time they faded all together. So even when he’s clam or in danger he tries to summon his shield but cannot do it. After that he became a target for Aku so every bounty hunter even Gem kind hunted him all over the world.
And it’s true I put Steven in Jack’s redemption ark but I rearranged it, the redemption first after the first round with the daughters. So Steven runs like hell away from those lunatics and is founded by the resistance.
And if you’re wondering why the Loud House are in this well not every resistance group are all super soldiers or elite group of combat veterans. Some are civilians soldiers as well.
And Connie is like the John Conner, General Washington, and king Leonites in this version, she doesn’t have a scar or anything but she’s a brilliant tactician, and fought against many of Aku’s forces. She uses her sword and everything.
And I was going to add the TMNT (2012), and Thundercats (2011), Kong (Kong Skull island) and Godzilla (2019) I forgot to add them in the resistance.
Lastly when Jack returns also facing his demons. But this time the resistance and Jack’s allies. Imagine different cartoons from Cartoon network, Disney, and Nickelodeon fighting as one. I especially like the quote “The 300 fights for the one!”
P.S. if Steven was trying to fight his corrupted side, and is fighting Bismuth he tries his hardest but it was too strong, but Bismuth says “You do not have permission, to surrender soldier!”

And you’re once again falling into the same traps when it comes to storytelling, and a few cameos from other franchises is okay but there is a point where you have too many and it doesn’t make (ya risk doing a South Park instead of Ready Player One)
Samurai Jack from its earlier episodes at least hinted that it shares a universe with other CN shows so other CN characters appearing actually made sense
(The ruins of the Powerpuff girls home, Dexter’s lab etc)

The proper term is “character development”
Where a character changes as a result of the story they’re in
It’s effective when it’s shown or at the very least explained, you say show but you’re showing the ends without the means, you haven’t done any showing at all
And I recommend ya take on my recommendations if ya want people to at least read and reply to your stories, I may not be the best but people at least read and reply to my stuff,
All I am trying to do is help you get the same or maybe become better because there is some potential in you

Nah giant monsters would be ineffective against Aku as he himself can change size and he’s been shown to be invulnerable to such creatures and radiation doesn’t hurt him! Magic beats magic here!
Also nothing wrong with telling people if you’re dyslexic, alot of people will even respect you for it, even find admirable that someone with dyslexia is trying to write (it’s very admirable)
You just need to watch out for the bad guys of the internet, they’ll also attack your story too for being bad in any small way, just remember that no matter what; do not get angry with them! Either politely respond or ignore them! They get off on people getting emotional and angry at them so deny them that pleasure!
Also Gems would win against the daughters easily, the gems have thousands of years of fighting experiences and they don’t bleed or die easy
And sure I can see Connie as a battle tactic genius, she becomes good at nearly everything when she puts he mind to it

How did you like that scene where Jasper punches that double knives daughter?
Also if my later ego was up against the daughters, I can take them. My abilities are like Wolverine, Sabertooth and Beast combined. Here’s how, I got Wolverine’s healing abilities, Sabertooth’s fingernail claws, and kinda like the wolf man I transform into a werecoyote. Its similar to a werewolf, same in canine species.
I have the strength, speed, and agility of 20 men and Heighten animal senses, even abilities. I would have done what Hellboy did to that one Nazi in the gas-mask, and if i was in a swamp where one of the daughter ambush and tries to drown me, but my eye turn from a human’s eyes to Coyote eyes, and I say “surprise!”
And would Jasper save a bunch of civilians even with earth themed weapons?

You clearly are creating your own version of but as to the actual Jasper from the actual show then that’s a whole thing
She’s shown to still not like earth or it’s people and she’s only giving a slight bit of respect for Steven
Jasper is someone who respects strength above all else, she admired the Diamonds because they were (as most gems believed) were perfect and respected Rose Quartz tactics despite being an enemy but hated Steven because in her view he was deceptive as he did not rely on physical strength and originally used words and she hated those who “cheated” in fights (fusion) to beat her
She only respected Steven not after finding out he was diamond (she still hated him) but after she could see he could actually fight
Jasper hates those she views as weak so at the moment would most likely not go out of her way to save someone who can’t save themselves
She might respect Jack because of his strength
Definitely a possibility

Believe me I would tell Jasper she owe Steven, for becoming a corrupted Gem, she brought that on herself, and I would grab her shirt collar and give her a piece of my mind, and tell her strength comes in more than physical strength but she’ll never understand that, if she had bones I tell she would understand with a thick skull like hers.

Jasper is just a result of her upbringing
She was created to be a soldier in the gem war
Her purpose is to be strong and if she’s
not strong then she’s worthless
Jasper hasn’t known anything other then war so it’ll take time for her to adjust to her new way of life
Don’t forget this is all supposed to be metaphors for real, everything I said about Jasper happens in real life all the time to too many people,
Some of those people eventually cope with their new place in life while others find it impossible to move away from war in real life
Especially when war is all they’ve ever known or like in the cartoon were born into it

to the fan groups of Samurai Jack and Steven universe
Or any other groups like the Cartoon Network groups, or the Nickelodeon and Disney groups
Thousands of others do just that and that’s how they gain watchers and followers as well as comments and replies and more conversations
If people like your stories that is, putting yourself out there, there’s always a risk of attracting people who don’t like your work
But I still recommend you should try it

just click on the submit button and instead of uploading a file you click the "Enter Text" button
