I know all about this, too. God it hurts and I've gone through nearly 20 years of it. People (even famly) just don't realise what this illness can do to someone and they all need to be more aware.
Thanks for posting this.

I totally know what you mean. It hurts for my dad just to rub his hand on my shoulder. It's agonizing when you go to the fibro doctor and they do the pressure point test every time. Love how you portrayed feeling trapped inside of your body.

Love this! I have Fibromyalgia too. So far I have dealt with it artistically through writing, but I am now inspired to express my pain in visual art as well!

Thanks. Fibro is not an end, although it is really hard not to think so, I know. Luckily there is more awareness all the time about it and they are finding new treatments all the time. Some cities have even organized walks to bring awareness pretty cool.

Yeah, I know. It's especially hard for me since I was diagnosed at 16. For some reason, people seem to think it's an old peoples' disease.
Sadly, that is not the case.
But I am so glad that it is getting recognized as something REAL!

Great image. I think the highlight around her body exemplifies the sensitivity, experienced by the sufferer.
