Marina sighed and started talking.

“Look, Krystal, the reason I wanted to talk with you it’s because I had a lot of changes in my life.”

“Don’t get me wrong: a lot of those changes are great, like meeting you and the rest of the people I befriended. However, some of those changes came from the Guardian Order: I have more responsibilities than before. For that reason, I have less free time to spend with my friends and with Cedric.”

Then, Marina looked away from Krystal. “It may sound silly for you, Krystal, but I’m scared of these changes. Not by a lot, of course. However, I’m afraid of things will always change and, to be honest, that scares me a little.”

“I’ll talk with my mother about this, but she has more work since she was named the person in charge of the Guardians in this island. When she’s not guarding the warp pad or Princess Holly’s Statue, she’s making reports or going out on missions. Right now, she’s occupied with a report and I didn’t want to interrupt her.”

Krystal was shocked. She knew Marina was a strong, young and competent Guardian, and didn’t thought she will need advice on the topic of changes during your life. However, she recovered from her surprise and her mind started to think what to tell Marina to make her feel better.
