Once Richard arrived, he taught Cedric how to use offensive magic.

“We’ll concentrate on fire magic for now, Cedric,” said Richard. “Show me how you use your fire magic.”

Cedric nodded and extended his arm, pointing his keyblade at an imaginary target.

“Fire!” said Cedric.

In that moment, a fire erupted in the spot Cedric was targeting.

Richard nodded in approval. “Not bad! However, you lose some time by saying the word ‘fire’. I need you to do the same without talking. The first step is to give a mental command. Get close to me, so I can explain how to do that, since it’s not easy to cast spells by thinking in the command as it may see.”
