The next thing on Cedric’s list was to practice his Reflect spell, which created a barrier that protected from enemy attacks (including spells). It only lasted for a few seconds, but he was now training to make it last a bit longer.

Richard had instructed him on how to create the barrier without yelling ‘Reflect’, and was now practicing that spell. Once he mastered it, Richard will teach him how to make the shield smaller, so he could still protect himself, but make it last longer.
