Description
Made on the 27th of March. On the 16th of February 1991, BBC Alba underwent an overhaul that led to it's then-current form (COW Globe being used at all times), having no slide that was not made yet, BBC Alba took their unused 1990 startup slide and tweaked it to include their 1991 logo. Other than that, the bilingual notice and blurred COW Globe stayed the same.
It made it's first appearance at 5:00am after Test Card F on that very day accompanied by some library music of the time. The first programme on the day after that was programmes from The Open University, with Alba taking Open University coverage from BBC1.
Library music often played in the background when the slide was on, but it did not gain any of the Murray Munro-composed music pieces (like Against the Clock and Primary) until 1992.
