Nice! Thanks ^^ But you know, as helpful as these little pages are, they seem more like "Tips and Tricks" than tutorials x) But they're still fantastic nonetheless, so thank you.

It's not a problem with Flash in and of itself. Digital art, and especially vector-based ones like Flash, make it easier to reuse models or to edit just a piece of the model at a time. So instead of making original and expressive poses, they'll reuse the character's standing pose and move the arms and mouth a little. It's the new type of limited animation.

But man, used to its fullest potential, Flash can make some beautiful things. Check out Disney's Wander Over Yonder if you haven't already. Varied and fluid character animations, and amazing scenery.

I'm really hoping to use these with my senior project...I want to major in cartooning.

These are also very entertaining!! I love Spongebob, especially when my cousin says "Barnacles".

I really have a habit of making backgrounds (and characters in general :\) Really flat. Looking at this gives me an idea of simple stuff I can do to make it better! I'm going to be starting a comic soon, so I've been looking all over DA for tutorials on backgrounds and inking and persepctive and anything that'll help me make my comic better. I have to say this is one of the easier tutorials to understand. (and heck, anything with Spongebob is awesome XD)

Just took the time to read through all 12 of these. Line of action and some of the angles are going to be a bit tough to master, but these are really helpful! Thanks so much!

Thanks, selvo...those principles aren't hard to master... all you can do is just keep them in mind as you draw. Besides, the point is to master the principles... the point is for your to keep getting better!

Great! Backgrounds are not so scary once you have a sort of pattern to follow. Have fun!

I really had to chuckle at the part "What's this?", because that was exactly what I thought when I saw that panel next to it. It sure is hard to draw perspectives that even show the ceiling sometimes, but I practice drawing rooms like these whenever I can offline. Good work. Simpler than the previous sheet but still useful.

Lol I'm still practicing just with characters, but this I'm sure will be helpful once I get to that point

Fun stuff! It really does make the whole image look better if the composition of the background is just as interesting as the characters in the foreground.
