Personality: Asa is a mix of all the description words, he’s not quite sure of himself just yet being the young age that he is. He’s laid back for his breed, but catch him on the wrong day and he’ll show you the fire that is, the Belgian Malinois. While he can be a bit of a spit fire, he does have a bit more patience than expected of him. He’s expressive and witty, he’ll tell you exactly how he feels no matter if that may hurt your feelings. Take no offense, that’s just how he is. He always gets described as having a good brain, he tries to think situations through, but being young he is still learning overall. Even with his young age he shares a strong sense of loyalty and tries his best to please his human as well as his friends. He also tries to be as respectful as possible, but sometimes finds himself getting into trouble. Asa does have a sense of fun, he’s not a total party pooper, but it’s at the right time. He always has to finish his work before play. When it comes to affections, he’s more reserved, you’ll have to really gain his friendship or trust to see any REAL affection from him. From his past he can always get himself into a bit of an aggression at times. But he’s working on it, it’s been a long process.

Pre-Group History: Asa was born an only pup to his mom, who was a strict yet affectionate with him. She raised him carefully and tried to give him as much knowledge and experience as she could. While not being described as a momma’s boy he was always super respectful with her, and absolutely adored her. Being a more unique color people caught sight of him and his mother frequently. On what seemed to be a regular night, Asa found himself being snatched from his bed and being stuffed into a brown bag. He heard his mother wake quickly and go for his attacker. His heart dropped when he heard her yelp and a thud of dead weight falling to the ground. Shifting in the bag he was able to peek through a hole. They had put his mother into a bag of her own and that’s the last he saw of her. He was taken away and sold to multiple people, but aggression and fearfulness set him into different homes until he found his current owners, who worked day in and day out to gain his trust and settle him into their home. He’s happy with them, but to a point. He wants to find his mother, somehow he feels she’s still alive and maybe looking for him as well.
