It had been a week, Emmy hasn't woken up yet. Steven was getting really worried, so he tried to wake her up himself. "Emmy? Emmy, c'mon. It's time to wake up...please?" he pleaded. Suddenly, a groan was heard, it was from Emmy. It was hard to tell if her eyes were open cause her hair blocked them but she looked around, so it was easy to tell. She looked at Steven and tilted her head "Who...who are you?" she asked in a tired voice, "I'm S-Steven, Steven Universe, I'm a gem like you." he lifted up his shirt to show the gem on his tummy. Emmy gasped and touched it gently. "R-Rose?" Steven frowned and shook his head "N-No, I'm not my mom. I'm half human half gem. She gave up her form in order to make me, but technically she's still there. Somewhere." Emmy slowly took her hand off with a disappointed "Oh...". Steven then realized he had to tell the others, so he quickly dashed off to where they were and told them she was awake, once they arrived, Emmy smiled softly and went to get up to hug them, but quickly lied back down as a shot of pain surged through her body. "Hey hey, relax, don't try to get up. Steven found you badly hurt on the beach. Your cuts are healed but you must be sore from whatever hurt you." Pearl quickly said as she went to her side. Amethyst got ready to run and hug her, but Garnet stopped her, this made her pout and sigh as she understood, the gem boy looked up at Garnet and asked "When will she get better?" "It may take a while, but she should be okay in say, a week. Her body needs to rest. Pearl is right, she's still sore, she can't overwork herself." he nodded and looked at her as Pearl made sure everything really was okay. Later that night everyone was in their rooms doing whatever, except for Amethyst, she quietly snuck out and gave Emmy a gentle hug with a quiet "Glad to see you back...I missed you. Get better soon." she let out a soft chuckle which startled the purple gem, making her step back, "I will, thank you. Good night Amethyst." both gems blushed as she nodded and went back into her room. Emmy and Amethyst became best friends when they met each other from Rose. Emmy was from Homeworld like the others, but still liked Amethyst a little more, something about her just made her drawn to her. At first Amethyst wasn't really open to her that much, but after a while she grew on her. Amethyst was the saddest when Emmy left, she secretly blamed herself for it, thinking Emmy just couldn't stand her after saying she was from Kindergarten. This wasn't the case however. She knew Amethyst felt this way even after all this time, Emmy can read people, or gems in this case, quite well. Being able to tell if someone is lying about their feelings or knowing when they're putting up a front to hide what their true feelings are. Amethyst knew this but couldn't help feeling this way still. Oh well, she would tell her in the morning. Right now, all they needed was sleep.
