This ones for you boomslice.Shoot number 1 w/ Jess this weekend went very well. I took about 250 photos and this is the first I've had a chance to work on.
I love how the tats, piercings & jewelery blend together with the color to give a feeling of fierceness.
Somehow when you look at her face... it's sullen. portraying an almost peaceful nature.
But don't let your guard down...

She looks like the Goddess of line-drawings. Her nose has made me rethink the way I have been connecting the nose to the upper lip in my drawing.

This is a great shot. I love the contrast between the jewelry and tattoos with the serenity and peaceful expression. It also makes me think of the hectic pace of things, the busy-ness of life and yet this shot reminds me there are still those quiet moments...
