old description below (not up to date anymore)

(the actual deviation is in this description)

dAmn.extend v0.20313

Attention: This user script only works with Mozilla FireFox and Flock, not for Internet Explorer (if you don't know what I'm talking about, you're probably using IE and can't use this script)
With some time, I will re-write dAmn.extend and also release an IE-friendly version.

Installation You need the GreaseMonkey extension. Install this extension first, then you have to reload FireFox.
(Don't do what follows. For now, use the fix posted at the start of this post) After that, click here and select "Install" .
After that, reload your chat page to let the dAmn.extend kick in.

please bear in mind that this script is still under development. If you notice bugs or have suggestions, feel free to contact me at `siebenzehn

thanks to `sapphiretiger for creating the preview image layout
also thanks to `doofsmack , *eViLKoRnY , `igy and the others I probably forgot right now for testing and giving hints

big thanks to `bzed for providing me with a faster webspace for the script

might i add btw, that i install the 'unofficial' dAx fixed for FF3 and it works, but for example, as i type /faqsearch it gives the error 'insufficient parameters' ... and all goes wrong when i install the 2nd scrip, everything ( options ) disappear and i get the basic normal 'chat'

help pleasss

... The dAxfix is designed to work while the main one doesn't. The dAxfix is referred in the summary because the original is still... well... unfinished.

Did you install the temporary fix for Firefox 3, if you're using Firefox 3?

kin37ik In reply to frozenpandaman [2009-04-12 03:58:28 +0000 UTC]

yes, i tried that and it didnt work unless i actually added the specific chat web address into the web address list, otherwise it freezes FireFox3 and then the script doesnt work at all.

though lately the script has been working on and off, where it decides whether it wants to work or not, if it decides to not function, the commands dont work at all, it's been like this for a couple of weeks now =/

frozenpandaman In reply to kin37ik [2009-04-12 04:01:35 +0000 UTC]

perhaps it's interfering with another script you have installed in greasemonkey?

kin37ik In reply to frozenpandaman [2009-04-13 14:23:55 +0000 UTC]

possibly, has there been any record of it conflicting with the Emotes Script? or dAmn Colors?

frozenpandaman In reply to kin37ik [2009-04-13 14:33:26 +0000 UTC]

Emotes Script, being Zikes' Custom Emotes? Not for me.

kin37ik In reply to frozenpandaman [2009-04-14 01:21:54 +0000 UTC]

yeah Zikes' custom emotes script, i have that but ive never had any problems with custom emotes.

im wondering if dAmn Colors could be conflicting?

Sorry Siebenzehn,

I've problems with my FF and your GM Script, is it possible that u tell me if it's compatible to FF 2.0.0.6

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

JaxInc [2009-03-08 20:13:41 +0000 UTC]

Having an odd conflict with mine.

Everything worked till recently, now timestamps only work before dA colors completely loads. Once dA colors load the stamps just..quit working.

They both worked together previously, so I dont know what changed to make them conflict.

siebenzehn In reply to gdpr-5649430 [2009-02-26 11:15:26 +0000 UTC]

If that uses the FF engine and GreaseMonkey runs on it, then probably yes.

RaizShock [2009-02-22 17:05:31 +0000 UTC]

Time stamps still work for ff3, you have to install the unpatched version and then install the fix and then you can use timestamps.

even when i specifically tell them to click that one

My timestamps have died, I have the latest version of Firefox, Greasemonkey and the FF3 fix for dAx. I reinstalled dAx, no luck. Possibly I cleared my cookies and the timestamp cookie disappeared? Maybe Greasemonkey's recent update (I think there was one) has killed dAx timestamps. Help please. Thanks in advance.
