Ah, the dress looks fantastic! Love the flared look (good job with that), and the rainbow color blending looks superb. Your shadows near the bottom of the dress are good, but seem to be missing elsewhere--I would think her hair would cast a few shadows on her face. Your hair effects are really well done (I like the little rainbow highlight). If anything, I think the only thing you're really missing at this point is texture. Again, her (head) hair looks great, but the rest of her body seems to be just a flat color, which is an odd contrast with the detail of the hair. I'd say try for some more texture effects next time. Otherwise, good job once again! This is one of your most technically impressive pieces yet!

Thanks, man. Yea, I didn't think of the hair shadows until I'd already merged the two layers, but you're right, they are a detail that should be there. Yea, I think I've got a good enough handle on hair, next I need to tackle fur. Her muzzle doesn't look quite right to me either but I decided to just go with it for now. I am pretty happy with this one all things considered. Thanks for the advice on this piece, you definitely helped make it come together with your observations
