Description acrylic 9x12 in.

Wildflower growing out of the dried leaves on the trails in the forest.Unusual purple for new growth but it looked cool.

This is an acrylic painting I did of new growth flowers
growing out from the dried leaves in the beginning of spring.I was hiking on the trails of my brother's property and saw this
growing just off the trail

I've never seen new growth that color,amazing what you
come across walking in the forest.It struck me as unearthly
and unusual too.Just had to paint it

Lovely! and what a strange colour for new growth? Bizarre! Which makes it all the more fantastic, lovely colours, and I really like the contrast and depth the deep black makes
