Well would you look at that? An animation that's FINISHED in TV Paint?
What are the odds? |D
This was a slightly older animation that was left to collect dust, so I decided to finish it
for goodness sake. It's not too bad, there are some bad frames here and there
but I wanted to finish this so I can reference it again with an updated version of it later on
for the game..
Brandt can run in two ways: On all fours and on two legs. He runs on his tippy toes when on two legs
the same is said for him on all fours. Basically, he acts like a cat a little TOO well lol
He can switch positions on the fly during gameplay which is helpful for speed running tactics
I'm trying to use TV Paint for the FMV, sprites, and even backgrounds
And the occasional Photoshop to even things out lel
But yeah, I tried to make it where he's running so fast that the bouncing isn't as prominent
It was fun trying to figure out the wave pattern of his tail coat since it's very important in general
....
As for the Max Speed part in the title, Brandt also has three speeds he can go:
WalkSlow, WalkFast, and Run in Smash Bros Brawlbox terms.
Even though this game isn't going Sonic levels of fast, it's still fast enough to count as a high speed parkour platforming game
and Brandt's gonna be doing quite a bit of parkouring in the game lmao
