Description When I fight, I clench my fists around my heart, and hold it in my hands, it's my gun, my sword, and my shield... You can try to break it, but it'll break you first!

-------

MAXWELL!!! He looks... NOT AS GIRLY AS USUAL!!! I think... XD

Eheh, quite nice that the first thing I draw this New Year is one of my oldest OCs... (Him and his sister Lenne being twins that've existed in my mind since I was... Hell, I don't even remember anymore! XD)

His outfit here is more flashy than usual, I'm trying to update his image, to make him look like he genuinely exists in the future, I hope it worked, I really like those asymmetrical pants, I'd really like a pair... ;A;

So... What's going on anyway? What's with them freaky-deaky gauntlet things, you might ask?

Well, they're the Sundered Heart! Maxwell's weapon of choice is actually unstable on a molecular level, and in a constant state of fluctuation, he can shift it's form on the fly allowing for some (hopefully) creative mash-ups! It does require practice though, so don't expect him to pick it up right off the bat!

By the way! Anyone remember/get the Sundered Heart reference?

Please do... For the geek in me... ;3;

By the way, Asura forme isn't actualy the name of this form, that's just there cuz' I can't title and it seemed funny to reference Asura's Wrath. XD

Also by the way, I'm continuing to experiment with shading, PLEASE gimme some feedback! XD

I really hope you like this new look for Maxwell!

That's a pretty awesome looking outfit, and that weapon looks pretty cool too. I like that it can change forms and stuff because of it's instability. I like versatile weaponry like that.

Okay, I gotta ask. Is he...Is he wearing lipstick? It's not a bad thing if he is, but it looks like he is, so with that pretty face, I'm feeling slightly attracted...just a lil' bit. LOL. Only on a non-sexual level, but still.

SithPostsArt In reply to LunarWingLuna [2014-01-07 20:28:33 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! I'm hoping he finally looks like he belongs in the future! XD The Sundered Heart's instability is something I've been thinking about for a while, and the final decision came around mainly out of practicality, that said it's something I'm really excited to explore, it opens up a world of possibilities!

Hahahaha! Sorry man, but that just made my day! :') He isn't, but he DOES have naturally glossy lips... It's something I want to incorporate into my drawing style, I just... I LOVE LIPS. LIPS DON'T GET ENOUGH ATTENTION IN MANGA. XD Hahaha! Nothing wrong with that though, Maxwell is meant to be quite girly at times, the joke I'm hoping people will make if Rollin' ends up getting an audience is that Maxwell's like the sister where as Lenne's more like the brother... X3

LunarWingLuna In reply to SithPostsArt [2014-01-11 02:34:22 +0000 UTC]

You're right about lips not getting enough attention in manga, or in a lot of animated formats. It's disappointing because it's one of the most appealing parts of the face, but most times the eyes get all the love. I try to focus on lips to some degree, but I'm no good at it honestly. Lol. Then again, I just need to practice.
My characters Yuki and Luna were sort of like that too. Yuki was all girly and emotional while Luna was stern, strong and more battle-hardened. Yuki was definitely more like the sister than Luna was, so I totally get that dynamic. Lol.

Aye, though they do occasionally look fantastic in some shoujo manga, but in shonen, forget about it, boys apparently like boobs over lips... (Who knew... XD)

Indeed, I just... really really like lips, gorgeous lips make someone look so... Kissable... (Now I'm sounding creepy...) And they're so naturally beautiful! Aye, practice! ^3^

I really like that kind of dynamic also, characters who's personalities contrast with not only each other, but also their gender roles... Speaking of, Tomboys....

(By the way, sorry for the frequently... infrequently replies... this year is really intent on getting off to a rough start... Hopefully it'll stabilize soon.

LunarWingLuna In reply to SithPostsArt [2014-01-15 05:48:55 +0000 UTC]

I can understand the overemphasis on boobs tho. I mean lips are great, but, I mean boobs. They always win. Actually, something I'm particularly fond of is eyebrows. I don't know why, but I love them, at least when they're thick. It doesn't translate very well into animated work though unless there's a lot of realism. Lol
I love a good tomboy. It's weird how appealing it is when girls DON'T act all that girls. Maybe I just like it because I'm sort of girly. Lol

(Don't worry about the replies. Every one has those days/weeks sometimes. I know I do.)

SithPostsArt In reply to LunarWingLuna [2014-01-15 15:21:15 +0000 UTC]

Hahahah! I guess so! Just don't mention em' to Lenne, boobs aren't exactly her biggest asset... (she's pretty much small in every way... XD)

Ah, I must admit, depending on the person/character I too can be quite attracted to eyebrows, actually, they're something I really like about Juda... XD

Aye, it's funny though, my taste in girls puts me in a catch 22 situation, I want a girl who can depend on me, but I really like tomboyish girls who're strong and independent... Agh, I'm hopeless! XD

(I know, I just feel rude, is all... I guess I'm too typically British... I say! Pardon me! Good Sir! )

LunarWingLuna In reply to SithPostsArt [2014-01-16 05:21:31 +0000 UTC]

Hey, it's cool that she's small in every way. I'm really into girls like that. Petite chicks are the bomb, though I'm also fond of thicker ones.
Eyebrows are the best. I don't know why I love them so much.

I'm 100% good with a girl who doesn't need to depend on me. Makes my life easier. Lol. I like 'em tough. I don't think I'd be that greatly dependable anyway. Lol

(Well, Americans don't care. Actually, that's not true, but I'm pretty passive.)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

SithPostsArt In reply to LunarWingLuna [2014-01-17 13:01:07 +0000 UTC]

Heheh, I adore petite girls, in a way Lenne started off as my dream girl... Then as I got older my dream girl became many many different girls... But Lenne's special... She'll always be... My first... XD

If you like eyebrows so much, ones that ain't drawn on at least, then be glad you don't live by me... Most girls in my local area have the whole Scouse Brow thing going on... =_=;

Eheh, Honestly, I don't think I'd be that dependable myself either, but... There's nothing quite like knowing someones depending on me... It gives me the strength to blast through any obstacle, because I just can't let them down... Eheh, I have very stubborn pride... XD

( I see... Eheheh, you can tell if someones typically British simply by bumping into them, even if it's not their fault they'll apologize... Two typically British folks walking into each other is a sight to behold, both sides almost competing for sincerity... XD)

LunarWingLuna In reply to SithPostsArt [2014-01-17 20:25:10 +0000 UTC]

I can't say that I've ever had a dream girl. Still, though, I have a few particular preferences. These preferences aren't like crucial deal breakers or anything like that, but they do make a difference to me. For example, I like blondes, but vastly prefer brunettes and redheads. I like all eye colors, but I prefer shades of brown. I like tanned, caramel-esque skin, but I prefer really fair, light skin. I only like innies (belly buttons); I hate outies. I don't mind shorties, but I'd rather a girl be close to my height (either a couple inches shorter or taller), or the exact same height. I like a nice D-Cup (who doesn't lol), but I prefer something closer to a B. I like an ass with some mass, but I prefer a small, cute one. Shit, I gave you too much. Lol. I gave you way more examples than you needed. Sorry, I'm a rambler.
So, I actually had to google 'scouse brows' because I had no idea what that meant. Honestly, still not 100% sure, but if my assumptions are correct, then that would mean those falsely defined brows; ones artificially enhanced through clever makeup application to appear thick when in reality they aren't, but they still look really phoney. Am I hitting anywhere close to accurate with my guess?

I'm quite different. I mean, yes, a girl who's a bit dependant would help me persevere in situations where I might just quit normally, but I'm pretty sure that's like written into the Y-chromosome. Lol. Me, though? I'd feel much better having an independent chick that pushes me to do things. Like, I'd feel better doing that stuff because she makes me want to rather than because she depends on me to so. If anything, I hate being depended on because it makes it that much harder to quit. I know that sounds lazy, and frankly really shitty of me, but I like being able to just give up when I choose to and not having it actually affect anyone.

( Oh damn. Couldn't be me. I always apologize when it's my fault, but if it isn't, then expect radio silence from me. Lol )

SithPostsArt In reply to LunarWingLuna [2014-01-18 00:09:44 +0000 UTC]

I don't have a dream girl anymore, too many things attract me to a person now, I pretty much love everything you've mentioned... XD

Aha, no need to apologize! XD

Near enough... Basically girls with scouse brows wax/pluck thin/off their actual eyebrows and then draw them on for an apparently thicker, more "luscious" looks... Can't say I've ever seen scouse brows that actually look good though...

Eh, that's fair, to each their own!

I think part of me would like a girl who depends on me is perhaps some kind of validation of my worth... I'm... Sounding quite insecure now, huh...

( )

LunarWingLuna In reply to SithPostsArt [2014-01-18 10:24:34 +0000 UTC]

Couldn't help apologizing. The rambling's a really bad habit. I only talk so much in person, but when I write, I get super carried away. Lol
Okay, yeah very familiar with the scouse brows then. Those things are awful. If your brows aren't natural, then what's the point? I'd rather you have paper thin eyebrows and roll with them than prim and prep them. It's fine to keep them from getting out of control, but they always best natural, thin or thick. It's just as bad as getting fake boobs, though I have far less complaints about those 'cause boobs are always great, but natural always wins in the end.

I see where you're coming from though. I talk a big game, but I'm pretty insecure myself, so I'd probably get the same validation of self-worth and totally thrive off it. I just prefer not being depended on because it's so much easier to take the easy way out. Lol. I know, that's very selfish and unambitious of me, but even though I like a challenge in games I'd much rather have it easy in life. There's infinite do overs in games, so failure means nothing, but in life, your room for screwups is minimal. That shit's terrifying.

Eh, I enjoy listening to whatever folks say, rambling or otherwise, heheheh, I'm pretty much the same! ^_^

Exactly... My family is naturally Scouse, so it's really annoying that our city of origin (Liverpool, we live on the opposite side of the River Mersey now) is currently associated with such a silly thing... Aye, I'm such a lover of natural beauty it really annoys me sometimes, like, seeing a girl plaster herself in make up... and friggin' FAKE TAN THAT LOOKS BLOODY ORANGE! UGHH!!! I just wanna scream at them! YOU LOOKED BEAUTIFUL TO BEGIN WITH! NOW YOU JUST LOOK WEIRD! >.<### Eheheh... I'm... Way too passionate about this subject...

Aye, maybe I'm dependent on being depended upon..?

Eheheheh, most games! I like permadeath games myself, you screw up, you're screwed! Like XCOM, or FTL! You get a little bit overconfident, push your luck a tiny bit too far, and those games break you! XD

But yeah, I know what you mean... There've been times in this past year that I wish I could just return to a checkpoint, or better yet not even attempt it...  Heheh, we're the Reset Generation, as people say... XD

Dude, I'm American. You gotta understand that we only know where London is. LOL. I am actually familiar with Liverpool though, but that river is a mystery to me. Lol
Anyway, natural beauty is amazing, so it's weird that artificial beauty seems to be the dominating force. I can understand the passion behind the subject. A lot of this stuff gets under my skin too. I would greatly enjoy a huge reduction in all this makeup nonsense, but it's just too heavily integrated in today's society. Even the little teens are getting more into it now. If The Hunger Games' capital city residents are any indicator, then it's only gonna get worse. Lol

I'm unfamiliar with XCOM and FTL. Bet they're fun. It's nice to be challenged that way, though, I still like having infinite opportunities to right a screwup. Lol.
The Reset Generation, huh? Haven't heard that before. How could that even be accurate? We can't reset anything...or is it a metaphor for something I'm too slow to comprehend? Lol.
There are a few things I'd like to reset in my life, but what I'd really like is a completely different save file sometimes.

Hahah, fair enough! XD

Indeed... Ugh, god we've produced some awful fashion/make up trends recently... Oh god, I PRAY the Vajazzle hasn't made it Stateside yet... Seriously, if you don't know what it is DON'T look for a definition, sometimes ignorance is absolute bliss. Do not fall victim to morbid curiousity... >_<"""

They're both strategy games, so they're naturally quite unforgiving... XCOM is a turn based strategy where you defend Earth from an Alien threat, Faster Than Light is a realtime spaceship combat management sim thing with randomly generated levels, it's a wonderful indie-game.

Aye, it's a derogatory term aimed at our generation... It implies that we're so used to being able to press a reset button that we're incapable of functioning in the real world... =_=;

Hell yes, another save file PLEASE! Or maybe newgame plus... XD

Curiosity is in my nature. As soon as someone tries to dissuade me from looking into things, I waste no time doing it anyway. I didn't even finish reading your whole response before I googled that. Lol. I do mildly regret my decision to google it now. I know it isn't big here in the states, but it's def here already. Lol. That is pure fuckery. I can't fathom the logic behind that.

I think I've actually heard of XCOM, but I def haven't heard of Faster Than Light, but it's indie, so no surprise. Lol. I've never really played any strategy games before, but I've played games that require strategy, so I could get with them.
Well, I'm def not prepared for the real world, that's for sure. -sighs- but enough about that tragedy.

Curiosity is a curse we both share... T-T

XCOM is a pretty old series, it was revived a few years back. Ah, FTL is just beautiful... You should definitely look up some videos at the very least. ^_^

Eheheh, I know how you feel... Aye, enough of the negative, let's not worry about it! ;w;

I'm not afraid brain rot. I love feeding this curiosity. Lol

I may just check some vids out when I'm being a lazy bum. I haven't even been trying to draw. I've been too busy playing Final Fantasy XIII-2. I'm really bad at staying on top of that. The same problems are holding me back, so it's very easy to convince myself to do other things. Lol. I'm terrible.

Hahahah, It's always fun to see how different people play certain games, FTL being a favourite, my other favourite is Ride to Hell: Retribution, purely because it's so awful, I love seeing people's reactions... XD

I'm actually behind on the Final Fantasy games, though I'm literally counting the days til' Final Fantasy X HD is released, FFX is one of my favourite games EVER.

Come on man, you can do it!!!

I'm not brave, just stupidly curious with nothing to lose a bit of sleep at night. LOL

Oh, man. That sounds interesting. I'm only ever really playing high rated stuff. Lol.
Behind on Final Fantasy?! Say it ain't so! You gotta hop on the train. The XIII set is the bomb, but X is my favorite. It's between that and Tales of Symphonia for my all time favorites. I'm very excited for the HD remakes of both of those games and their sequels. It's gonna be so awesome having my boy Tidus and my favorite lady Yuna back in my life. I'm not looking forward to seeing Seymour's ugly mug again though. He can rot in the deepest, most incineratingly hot depths of whatever Hell is the cruelest. I HATE HIM. I'm gonna enjoy overkilling him every single fight again. It's gonna feel good and look that much better in HD. Ummm, sorry about that. Insatiable rage is eternal, so I got a bit carried away. Lol

Now that you've got that new Lenne reference up, I'm definitely about to get on it.

Hey, sleep at night is an important commodity, you'll miss it when it's gone! XD

I like playing the little indie titles, sometimes you can find some real gems! Also my little laptop can't play anything remotely big! XD

I know, it's a travesty, please forgive me... =_=;; I really want to get into the XIII series, it looks wicked awesome! Though honestly, I'm not very big on turn-based RPJ, X was a massive exception, everything seemed to just flow really well, and the story, and characters... So freakin' special... Tidus and Yunie will always have a special place in my heart... AH yeah, that maniacal son of a tree! He was a monster and a half! Ugh, I remember fighting him for the first time on Mount Gagazet, his Lance of Atrophy and Full-Heal combo was dirt cheap! >.< But I'll be ready this time!! Oho, don't worry, I share your burning desire to cut that shrub down to size! (Please forgive the awful tree pun...)

Sweeet!!!

LunarWingLuna In reply to SithPostsArt [2014-01-26 23:40:42 +0000 UTC]

I surely will. I'm quite the fan of sleep at night. I'm quite the fan of sleep in general.

The indie titles do seem fun, but whenever I have cash, I gotta go for the stuff I know.
The XIII series isn't turn-based at all. The essentially stopped doing turn-based systems after X and X-2. XII and all the XIIIs including the soon to be released Lightning Returns are all active time based, but they don't actually have turns. It's a lot more fluid than that, but at the same time you don't have complete control like an action game though. Lightning Returns will be the first in the XIII series to actual give you movement control over your character in battle, be it a bit limited still. It still incorporates a lot of what you get in the first two games, but you'd have to really play to really get the gist of how the battle system feels, but definitely not turn-based though.
X was a special game though. It was my FF, so it was a really big deal to me. Tidus in Yuna are always gonna be in my heart too, and I can't wait to finally kill some monsters with them again. It's gonna be awesome. But, yeah, Seymour is like actually the worst person ever conceived. I swear I hate him with a burning passion. His little Lance of Atrophy combo was actually thwarted by Rikku who had equipment on that allowed her to recover from the status ailment on the turn she gets it, and his stupid self kept using the move only on her. I mean, he's an idiot, and a colossal waste of matter, so I'm not surprised, but still. Made my life a hell of a lot easier. I actually overkilled the bastard in every single fight. Really hate that guy. I destroyed a gifted stuffed animal over his jerkwad self. I had a really bad temper back then...still do now actually. Lol.

I wish I could sleep... =_=;;

That's fair enough, though I watch a few review/first impressions gaming channels on Youtube, and a few of them do indie games (like TotalBiscuit and NerdCubed, they're a couple of my favourites).

The latest in the series-es that I've played was XII, and it just felt like there wasn't enough control for me to really get into it, I played it a fair bit, and I liked the characters, but I don't think I even got close to finishing it... To me it felt kinda' like the dungeon/combat system was designed for an MMORPG, not a regular RPG... I just never felt comfortable without that direct control... My favourite kind of RPG battle systems are those from stuff like the Star Ocean games. Ah, another of my favourite Action-RPGs were Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 (AKA Dark Chronicle), They were wonderful PS2 era games that I would kill to see get a HD re-release, I adored them...

Aye, that's the same for me, I was never really into the Final Fantasy games before X, I didn't really have the patience, but X just captivated me, everything about it blew me away. Ah, I see, heh, you were probably a lot more prepared than me! Though back then I always had a bad habit of pushing my luck! XD And also occasionally using Ronso Rage: Self-Destruct to finish off a battle... That was a TERRIBLE HABIT. (But quite hilarious! XD)

Heheh, he was a arrogant son of a tree... >_<#

Even though I love video games, I don't follow any game channels. I only use Youtube for music and seldom for laughs. I usually don't give a crap about what other people are saying about games. I just like to play 'em myself. Lol. Admittedly, some people actually have cool stuff to say, but I'd never actively look for reviews and stuff.
XII definitely felt like it should have been an MMORPG, but I thought that aspect was cool since I'd never played an MMORPG before anyway (and I still haven't). The story was cool and different than the typical Square Enix stuff too. I mean I love the typical stuff,I'm just saying it was that it was different. I did beat it.
I've never played Star Ocean or those Dark Cloud games. but I'm into the Tales of series (Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Vesperia, etc.), so I can understand the love of the pure action RPGs.
I'd never know what Final Fantasy was until I first played X, so everything before it came second to me. The older games are nice, but not as compelling to me. The graphical inferiority, lack of voice acting, out of date battle systems, and lack of cinematic flare just turns me off of them. Well, VII and IX were equally as compelling even though they were lacking, but that's because they were more innovate than the pre-VII games and they were at least 32-bits. I didn't list VIII because it's garbage. Worst FF I've ever played and yet I still beat it. Lol. But, yeah, the pre-VII games are all 16-bit, or less, and just lack too much of what I like about the later ones, so I can't get into them. It's funny because I actually almost every numbered Final Fantasy. The only ones I don't have are I, II, III, XI and XIV.
Btw, I was only prepared for that fight out of pure luck. I could've easily missed that piece of armor and actually had a hard time with that battle.

I watch em' because a lot of the time they show off games I've never even heard of, and sometimes I LOVE seeing them play games that are absolutely AWFUL... XD It's also nice to listen to them whilst drawing, I also like listening to e-sports commentators, well... Mainly TotalBiscuit commentating StarCraft tournaments... XD (I wish I could play it, but my computer is nowhere near capable of running it... )

I used to play Runescape YEARS ago, I've always been interested in MMO's, I love the idea of community gaming, like, I adore Monster Hunter, though the pure irony is that I've soloed every portable Monster Hunter game, because Capcom only puts LOCAL multiplayer in the portable versions, which is infuriating, the very same game on Wii has Online multiplayer!

Ah! About a week ago I preordered the collectors edition of Tales of Symphonia: Chronicles! I'm very new to the series (Only played a tiny bit of Xillia) but it's really intrigued me! Aye, Spira was such a vast, vibrant, and varied world to explore, the characters had such spirit, such... Character, the soundtrack too, was magnificent, everything about it just captivated me! XD

Yeah, I've never really played right through VII of VIII, Cloud and Squall were just... too depressing for me. =_= Tidus had that determined optimism, that, at times, almost blind hope, his stubborn determination really warmed me to him.

Heheheh, at least this time we both know what to expect from that bastard!

I do sort of like that sort of stuff. When I was a kid, we had G4 here in the states and the channel was completely dedicated to games. The only gaming channel on TV and it's dead now. I guess my interest in other people's gaming commentary died with that channel. I'm all about playing everything myself now. Plus, with all the mainstream games out there, I'm not all that interested in anything else.
I like the idea of community playing too, but I just never get the opportunity to get into MMORPGs. The only thing I play online is Halo (which I don't own), and fighters (but only a few. I can't get into most 2D fighters).

I'll probably get the Symphonia Chronicles some time the line. It's coming out at an awful time with Lightning Returns coming out right before it. Symphonia was my first Tales game, so I'll 100% get the chronicles just not now. (Play Xillia all the way through. It's pretty great)
Everything about FFX was incredible. It sets a high standard.
Cloud was bruding but had a sense of humor at least. Squall was really depressing though. Speaking of Squall, FFVIII turned me off because of the awful stat development/battle system. I quite enjoyed the characters and story, but that terrible system was too much a part of the game to let slide, thus it ruined the entire game for me.
Zidane from FFIX also had a nice, cheery optimism to him. He and Tidus have that over a lot of the FF main characters. Tidus and Lightning are definitely my faves from the overall series.
I'm gonna show Seymour absolutely no remorse. He's gonna wish those idiots let Yuna send him back in Macalania.

Oh wow... I don't think we've ever had a serious gaming channel here in the UK...

I only watch a few gamers on Youtube, and mainly because I find them to be genuinely cool people. Aw, there are some indie games out there that can blow some of the triple A releases out of the water!

Yeah, nowadays there just aren't any MMORPGs that've caught my interest... And I only really play games online with my friends, otherwise I just can't communicate...

Ah, I hate when that happens... I've made sure to have money away for FFX for a while now, heck, since back in July I think, despite back then not even having a set release date! I still don't know which platform to go for though... PROBABLY Vita, so I can play it wherever and whenever, plus the Vita needs some love...

Aye, Y'know, i've never actually played FFIX... I think VII and VIII put me off... I really need to get into XIII, Lightning just looks so cool, maybe Square will release all three games as a Trilogy Boxset or something! XD

Indeed, kick his can back to Macarena Temple! XD (Tidus' mispronunciations for the win... XD)

I'm surprised you guys haven't had one. When I first found out we had one, I was astonished. It started going downhill after a while, though, and now it doesn't even exist anymore.
I'd like to see that. Not that I have no faith in indie games, I'd just like to see one beat out one of my favorites. If one could grip me that much, I'd be surprised. Though, I mean, I love indie movies as it is, so I don't think it'd be that hard for indie games to rock me too.
I thought FFXIV looked interesting, but I think it costs you to keep up with it monthly, so screw it. Well, that and the fact that I don't want to get too invested in it because it's never-ending, basically.

I wasn't really that worried about it anyway. I mean, yes I want the game a lot, but money's seldom in my pocket, so when I get it, I prefer to focus on games that aren't just HD remakes of ones I've beaten eons ago, so Lightning Returns has full priority because it's new and unplayed. Even if I had a Vita, I'd want to play on the big screen. That's where it would shine brightest.
If VII and VIII put you off, I'm not surprised. V and VI put me off of the really old ones, so I get it. Trust me, though. IX is a great change of pace from VII and VIII. It's much more high-spirited like X, just graphically inferior and no voice-acting. Lol. Still really fun though, and the characters are all pretty cool.
Yes! Get into XIII. It's so awesome. And yeah, Lightning is super cool. Characters don't get much cooler than her, and she's so much cooler because she's a woman. I'm really pumped for Lightning Returns. Only gotta wait until the 11th.
Oh, Tidus and his mispronunciations and lack of worldly knowledge. Love that guy.

There likely wasn't as much of a demand for one here in the UK...

Well there are some real gems out there, admittedly a lot of crap ones too, but the indie market is the best when it comes to gameplay innovation, big budget developers don't like taking risks, that's why they release so many sequels and spin-offs, as opposed to new titles, indie developers have more freedom in that respect.

Aye, I know a few folks who play XIV, and it does look quite interesting, but I'm already subscribed to Netflix and Crunchyroll, I can't afford anymore monthly subscriptions! XD Though I really like the idea of a game where theres no limit to the content added, though admittedly I'd rather join such a game at the beginning of it's life, as opposed to later, because a lot of MMO communities suffer from an elitist divide, and I can't be bothered dealing with "pro-mlg" bs, I'm a casual gamer...

I know the feeling, I've never played Symphonia, and I'm two games behind on XIII, so Symphonia's the logical choice for me! I like HD re-releases because I'm a major nostalgia freak, Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD remix for example, I got that and just lost myself in it, back when I was younger it took me weeks to play through it, but replaying it now I blitzed my way through it in a couple of sittings, I was just drowning in the nostalgia... XD

I'll have to check IX out sometime then. ^_^ And XIII!

Aye, his naivety made him so lovable, and it was almost heartbreaking at times, when he'd talk to Yuna about "after defeating sin", not knowing the whole story about summoners... Hnnngh...

That is a good thing about being an indie company. You can do what you want, though I don't blame the big companies for sticking to what works. They still try new things, just not as often. Besides, it's cool when games get a string of progressively more awesome sequels. Everyone loves seeing their fave characters back in the fray.
Yeah, that monthly subscription crap just puts me off. Also, I agree with notion of starting an MMO when it first begins. I don't really care about elitist jerks, though. I just want to be apart of the beginning. I don't wanna jump in after everyone's all high level. There'll always be beginners, but I want to be one of the firsts through the door.

Yeah Symphonia does make sense in that regard. I don't want KH1.5. I own the original game, and the extras in the new one don't matter to me. I know what they are, and don't have patience for it. KH2 makes the first one not even worth playing anyway because it's WAAAAAY better, plus, if I want nostalgia, I don't need to waste money on it sense I own the original. Also, Chain of Memories is pretty terrible, so also not worth the money, and I beat 358/2 Days, so I don't need the cutscenes (not like cutscenes are worth money when there's YouTube anyway lol). KH2.5, though, is definitely gonna be worth it because I do want the extras in KH2FM and I've never played Birth By Sleep.
IX is cool, but XIII is def the power pick here. Lol.
I felt so bad for Tidus when he found that out, but I was honestly pretty bummed about it too. I hate situations where someone has to be a martyr for society. It's such bullshit. Symphonia is actually largely responsible for my hatred of martyr situations...racism too actually. That game taught me some deep life values.

I'm very glad, where as Lenne's focused and highly skilled is specific types of combat, I want Maxwell to be a sort of jack of all trades kind of fighter, he's a skilled amatuer, a user of everything and a master of nothing! XD Ah, I see where you're coming from, both those series have really awesome clothing! I'm actually just starting to get into the Tales Of series now... Why did it take me so long!? XD
