don't really know why I'm submitting the lineart but here is the first step in a drawing I started this morning.
the characters are Conan from Detective Conan and my Snake playing soccer. (the rules are a bit diferent if your playing on all fours.)
I started out copying a picture but then decided to try my paw at actualy drawing Conan and I'm kinda surprised at how well he turned out. (never been good at drawing people.)

There is something of a story behind this picture as well, I'll attempt to explain a bit.
Main thing, Snake has been shrunk by the same poison as Shinichi because she kinda fell on top of Gin while he was poisoning Shinichi in the first place. (parallel realities are a pain.) After several weeks of being stuck both as a human child and a flightless pup Snake got rather depressed and Conan's attempt to chear her up was a game of one on one soccer.
turns out drawing it was alot of fun.
I don't know if I'll ever write a story based on this idea or not, after all the stories I've played through in my imagination it might just be time to write one down.
we'll see, it could keep me inspired for a while.
