(back with Audrey, she was finishing reading a book called ''The Mug and the Maiden: Vol 1'' needed to distract herself after the whole ordeal she and Sophie had faced in the Cycle. ah, and speaking of Sophie, she greatly worried for her safety and well being, she closes the book after finishing reading the last chapter and looks out of the window, opening it and the wind breeze flowed through her hair. her eyes widen a bit, sensing that the shadow of death was coming. she immediately closed the window, and shakes her head to not get the anxiety get the best of her and looks at the recipe, reading it.)''For Sleeping Draft:
-Pinch of Salt
-Cocoa Powder
-Chamomile
-Soybeans
- GILSON
Mix everything in a glass
and then drink with EXACTLY 3 SIPS OF WATER ''
Audrey: What's a Gilson? O.O
(Audrey Heads out of the room, turning right down the hall, coming across an audio tape that sits on a sofa. she plays the tape listening to the voice of Wilson himself speaking...)
''The Machine speaks to me revealing it's many possibilities. What I can accomplish using its power is beyond any measure. Life and death can become a thing of the past. Poverty and hunger, a distant memory. I can remake the world anew. But does the world deserve such a gift? For now, I have bigger matters at hand. A man in a black coat came asking at the front desk about the machine. Said he was from the Gent Corporation. Fortunately, the receptionist knew nothing and he left quietly. Later, I found his name on the sign-in form. Mister Alan Gray. ''
(as the tape finishes, Audrey continues on through the hallway, then opens the first door on the right to enter the Library. she reads the book on the windowsill to the left named ''Fisherman's Jebs: Fish Guide'' . she opens the book, flipping through the pages and finds valuable information about the Gilson.)
'' this is one strange little fish that is pretty hard to come by! the GILSON is not known to be easy to catch and will ignore most bait. to make matters worse, the Gilson can move very fast, making it a rare sight. in the end, I was able to snatch me up this little guy with a very clever solution: apparently, the Gilson is sensitive to loud vibrations and will go into shock upon hearing some sweet music. so crank up the tunes and this fish will be easy to grab! crush up the Gilson into powder and stir into into water for a powerful, soothing drink. ''
Audrey: So I'm looking for...a fish? there's gotta be one around here somewhere.
(She heads out of the library, turn right, then goes all the way to the end of the hall. Enter the door on the left, then move to the right side of the piano and push it closer to the fish tank on the left, and catches the glimpse of a fish swimming inside the tank.)
Audrey: now THAT'S a fish! (interacts with the tank, attempting to catch it, but it escaped her grasp) rrrgh. its too fast.
(Audrey then remembers what she read on the fish guide that this fish reacts to music. so, she plays a tune on the piano, causing the fish to go up to the surface in shock.)
Audrey: that did it. looks like the fish is asleep... (goes to the fish tank and grabs the Gilson.) Gotcha! (the Gilson tries to free itself from her grasp) you can't get away from me, you little stinker!
''AHEM!''
(Audrey looks to see Betty standing there with a stern look on her face.)
Audrey: Uh... Hello... OwO'
Betty: I, uh...forgot the Gilson again, didn't I? and there's already ground up in the kitchen too. (clears her throat) I'll bring it to your room straight away, shall I? Oh, and maybe you could put Harold back in his tank? he does so hate the dry air.
(Audrey looks at the fish she had in her hand and drops him back to the waters of his tank, freeing him. she then returns back to her room, heading towards the Bathroom, where Betty prepared everything for her on the tray near the mirror.)
Audrey: Now just three sips of water.
(Audrey takes the inky water out of the tap, and into the mug.)
Audrey: One... (drinks the water) Two... (drinks again) three... (drinks again)
(as soon as she finished drinking, she gasped in horror as Twisted Alice stood next to her in the mirror and starts to caugh before collapsing on the ground, staring up at the twisted angel that stared at her with an evil expression on her face as everything went black.)
Twisted Alice: Nightie night~
....
(when Audrey's eyes open, she finds herself sitting on the chair, and hearing Twisted Alice's voice speaking.)
Twisted Alice: Ah. awake at last. I was almost afraid you'd miss my party.
Audrey: Wha...? what's going on?
(Audrey looked to see Twisted Alice sitting before her on the table, seeing six Lost Ones tied to their chairs, and have bags on their heads.)
Twisted Alice: Ohh, it seems you're just a little overwhelmed. its alright, Honey. I understand. its not every day one gets to bask in the glory of...an Angel!
Audrey: an Angel?
Twisted Alice: (chuckles darkly) Alice Angel to be exact. that's who I am, sent from above. impending perfection. (cackles again)
Audrey: what do you want?
Twisted Alice: Ah, right to the chase. (gets up from her chair and walks to Audrey) I like that. the truth is, Honey, you're one of a kind. (stops, looking directly at her face) and to put it bluntly, what I want...is your face removed! your skin peeled away like paper and your insides torn out and tossed onto my table! custom parts ready for my delicious harvest!
Audrey: O~O'
Twisted Alice: and with your generous sacrifice...I'll...be...beautiful. but for now, let's have fun. plenty of time for a bloodbath later. Ooh. how about a game? let's all play a game of riddles! Riddles? oh, what a wonderful idea!
Audrey: No.
Twisted Alice: Hm. Alright, honey. here's the deal. behind you is the door to freedom. but it will only be open if you solve my little puzzle and return to your special chair. (goes to her chair) then, I'll throw this...heavenly switch here. if you get the puzzle right, you walk away. get it wrong...you fry. let's begin! (plays a background music that is named ''I'll be your angel'')
(Audrey gets up from the chair, staring at Twisted Alice and turns to each of the six lost ones that provide her with clues with solving the puzzle)
"The Fox thinks the Rabbit smells of elderberry. I couldn't see them sitting together."
"The Bird wouldn't have anything to do with the Rabbit, but I hear he likes to court danger by sitting next to the Fox."
"The Fox has always hated the Bear. They'd never sit next to each other."
"The Rabbit never sits next to the Bird, but he loves the playful company of the Bear."
"The pompous Fox? He wouldn't be caught dead sitting on the left. Far too pedestrian."
"My friend, the Bear, always sits next to the Bird. After all, they went to school together."
(Audrey climbs up the ladder behind Twisted Alice to enter in the answer to the riddle. her guess was the following from right to left: the rabbit, the bear, the bird and the fox. she pulls the switch, activating the electric wires, then descends down, going back to her chair.)
Twisted Alice: Hold on tight, Honey! here it comes! (places hand on the switch near her) Three...Two...One!
(as she pulls the switch, the six lost ones screamed as they were the ones electrocuted instead of Audrey, since she got the riddle right, frustrating the twisted angel and everything went black)
Twisted Alice: Noooooo!!!!
(when the lights turned back on, Audrey stands back up, seeing that all six lost ones were dead, and runs to the door behind her. that's when she hears her voice speaking...)
Twisted Alice: I see you there. no one likes a party pooper.
( and go to the right to retrieve your Gent Pipe. Upon doing so, the tied-up Lost Ones appear and attack her but she easily dispatched them. then, with her disabling the signal tower, her abilities returned. she then uses Flow to ascend to the balcony across the hall. Entering the room ahead...when she looks up, she hears gunfire, as the bullets went through the walls and aimed at her direction. lo and behold, there was Twisted Alice, holding her Tommy Gun and aiming it at Audrey)
Twisted Alice: No one humiliates an Angel! NO ONE! Now hold still, Honey! this is gonna HURT! (Starts shooting at Audrey) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
(Audrey immediately ducks, avoiding the gunfire. Avoid Alice's gunfire and moves to the back left side of the room. there, she charges the Gent Pipe, then head back to the right side of the room.)
Twisted Alice: are you hiding from me?! urgh, how precious! I know you're out there! (shoots at wherever she sees Audrey hiding) HAHAHAHAHAHA! That's it! I can do this all day! GOTCHA! (continues shooting) you reek of Ink Demon!
(Audrey sees an arrow that indicates where to go: up the ladder to a locked door. she enters the room and pull the switch, then head back to the first floor, where she almost gets hit by the continual gunfire.)
Twisted Alice: Stop Hiding and START DYING! I just want to be beautiful! HELP ME BE BEAUTIFUL! AAAAAAAAAHHH!!! (continues her gunfire)
(Avoiding the angel's sights and gunfire with Flow, Audrey charges the Gent Pipe again, standing atop a pile of boxes on the left side of the room then use Flow to reach an upper balcony. Pulling the switch.)
Twisted Alice: come out! come out, wherever you are! (looks around, angrily as she reloads the Tommy Gun) where did you go?! you ain't stealing my spotlight, honey! Hah! there you are! (spots Audrey running, and one of her shots gets her, causing her to wince in pain) HAHAHAHAHA! That's it! Bleed! your screams of pain are MUSIC TO MY EARS! DIE! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!
(Audrey was near a pile of boxes on the right side of the first floor. she jumps atop that pile, then use Flow to reach the balcony behind the now-opened angel door. she sneak behind Alice and attempts to Banish her to the dark puddles, but before she did, Twisted Alice turned around and grabbed her hand)
Twisted Alice: Aarrrgh! how dare you touch me?! (points the tommy gun at her)
(Audrey gasps and before she could pull the trigger, both she and Alice fall down to the ground below, with said twisted angel screaming as she fell. when she rolled onto her back, she saw Twisted Alice sprouting her black wings as she floats up, holding up the Tommy gun and aiming it at her)
Twisted Alice: Final curtain, baby! let's blow them away!
(Audrey closes her eyes tight, ready for the pain to come. but before the trigger was pulled, Allison comes in and strikes the angel with her sword, knocking away the Tommy Gun from her hands.)
Audrey: Allison?!
Allison: stand back, Audrey! (glances at Twisted Alice sternly) I'll deal with her!
Twisted Alice: hehehehehe! you know, Beautiful people run this world. If you can have brains or talent, you may just sneak through the gates. But with a pretty face, every door opens. The crowds bow to you. They ask your name. They want you to attend. They ask you to speak. A silky voice with gorgeous lips is everyone's weak spot.
I was reborn with my perfection stolen from me. To get it back, I'll rip this rotten world apart. Angels are beautiful. Angels are beautiful! and that face you wear... my face...that is supposed to be MY FACE! AAAARGHHH!
(Twisted Alice flies down, readying her claws to slash at Allison, who blocked her attacks with her swordsmanship, sprouting her own wings that were gold in color. the two angels finally duke it out in mortal combat as they clash against one another with Audrey watching. through the battle, both Allison Angel and Twisted Alice begin to have their memories of their former lives when they were still humans to be restored. Twisted Alice used to be a woman named Susie Campbell, who was proud to be the voice actress of Alice Angel in Joey Drew Studios' Bendy cartoon and very much enjoyed her role. but due to Joey's ambitious corrupt nature at that time, he had her replaced by Allison Pendle to provide the voice of Alice Angel in her place, while her husband, Thomas Connor was working hard with his fellow GENT workers on the Ink Machine being functional within the studio. the two women barely ever got along, with Allison having a sweet and caring personality, who was able to see past the darkness that dwelled in Joey's heart, while Susie having a more arrogant, callous, egomaniacal, and lacking in sympathy and expressing disinterest upon discovering Joey's true intentions.
the battle comes to an end, with Allison gaining the upper hand and pins Twisted Alice to the ground, stabbing her sword right near her neck. both end up staring at each other. with all the rage and hate that dwelled in Twisted Alice's heart being replaced with confusion and sadness, as a sad smile crept upon her face. )
Twisted Alice: my face...you have...my face.
Allison: its our face.
Twisted Alice: you...and I...we are...beautiful. but...why are you holding back? you have your chance to finish me off like all those other times in the cycle.
Allison: In this strange and dark place, we can find light and purpose. We are not left to just wander alone, craving beauty, power, and other meaningless things. Even the heart of someone feeling incomplete, can discover joy. We're not lost. We're merely waiting to be found. We are so much alike. Formed from the same mold. We're like sisters, you and me. I wish you comfort and the wisdom to let your heart melt into happiness. that's why, I won't give up trying to reach you before it's too late.
Twisted Alice: (looks at Allison, sighing to herself before she suddenly gets pulled into a hug) O.O
(Allison said nothing and hugged Twisted Alice tightly in her arms, and then, the corrupted angel that was once Susie Campbell started to sob and return the hug. Audrey could only watch with sympathy as the two alices embraced each other at last. moments later, as Allison helped Twisted Alice up, they both walk over to Audrey.)
Allison: are you alright, Audrey?
Audrey: y-yeah. I'm fine. I cannot begin to tell you how good it is to see you! (looks towards the other toon that always accompanies her) and this... must be your wolf?
Twisted Alice: he looks a lot like Boris.
Allison: Audrey, meet Tom. he's my protector. my friend. you both got here just in time.
Audrey: how come you two are alike?
Allison: the Machine creates many of the same forms.
Twisted Alice: at least, on the outside... on the inside, however, we're all pretty much different.
Allison: that's right. now, answer me these two questions Audrey. where is Sophie? and what in Heaven's name are you doing in Wilson's retreat?
Audrey: Wilson! I almost forgot! I have to get back right away!
Allison: are you crazy? Wilson's our enemy!
Audrey: do you even know him? have you ever talked to him?
Twisted Alice: Now listen here, Audrey! you have absolutely no clue to what atrocities this...this mad man is capable of!
Allison: she's right. I've seen what he's done. with Alice knowing that as well, that's good enough for me.
Audrey: look. it sounds like he has a plan to kill the Ink Demon for good! and... I think he can help us all! I just...I just need to go back and hear him out!
Allison: well, if it's true. you'll both need as much help as you can get. the Ink Demon won't go down without a fight! Tom and I will gather some of our friends. anyone who's left. Alice, you come along as well and help us out as best as you can. (to Audrey) and Audrey...good luck.
Audrey: You too, Allison.
(and with that, Audrey runs off, leaving Tom and the two angels.)
Twisted Alice: (somberly) that girl doesn't know what trouble she's getting herself into.
Allison: I understand your words. that's why we need to be prepared for any situation... (thinking) but where is Sophie? I wonder if she, Bailey and Bendy are okay.
(back to Bendy 1, who immediately pulled out his scythe from Sophie's back not too long ago after she prevented his suicide attempt, poor little imp was in tears as he desperately tried to wake the motionless Sophie up. )
Bendy: Sophie! wake up! open your eyes! Sophie!!! (sees the golden patterns began to fade from her arms, indicating that she was now at death's door.) No! No!! (holds her hand, more tears were spilling out of his eyes) please, you can't die here! QmQ
(the scene shifts to Sophie, unconscious, drifting in the shadows of the dark puddles. Bendy's voice echoed, calling out her name as she descends further and further into the darkness.)
'' Sophie! ''
''Sophie! ''
Sophie: (slowly opens her emerald green eyes) Bendy...? (looks to see a figure of Joey appearing again, catching her in his arms before she could sink further into the dark abyss of death.) no...Joey? what are you doing here?
Joey: does it really matter why I am here?
Sophie: it does. Bendy is crying.
Joey: Well...I hoped to make amends for all the troubles I caused for everyone even after my death in the real world. and seeing the state Bendy was in to the point of making an attempt on his own life...after taking a fatal blow like this, I'm afraid that my time in the cycle is about to come to an end as well and I will cease to exist.
Sophie: you took the hit in my place? why?
Joey: Kindness gets you into a lot of places, doesn’t it?
Sophie: huh?
Joey: Kindness and wisdom, and the courage and compassion in your heart, Without all these traits, seeing ahead can be difficult, and even darker. I believe it’s important for every single person here, humans and toons, to maintain a place in their minds and hearts for the bigger picture, the brighter part of it. That way we can truly reach our dreams!
Sophie: dreams...huh...?
Joey: I want you to tell him.
Sophie: tell who?
Joey: after having my heart consumed by bitterness, anger and hatred when he left, I wish I'd been the one to have broken the cycle that I have created. but alas, it wasn't meant to be. that's why, I decide to be leaving everything to all of you who still have a chance in this present day and age.
Sophie: Henry...Stein...
Joey: be it in the outside world, or in this world, it's not my place to speak about the future ahead. I couldn’t clean up my act, as I went insane! I fell victim to a curse of my own making, and thus the cycle continues on to this day! I this is why I am counting on you...the fate of Bendy and his friends now rest in your hands.
(Joey then uses his power to bring Sophie's soul back from the darkness of death. back in the dark room, the golden patterns on Sophie's ink stained arms emitted gold sparkles that floated into the air, illuminating the dark room. Sophie's head was being hugged by Bendy who was still crying out for her, his tears continually falling near or on her face.)
Bendy: (sobbing) wake up, Sophie...! (hic) P-Please...! *hic* C-Come back to m-me...! *hic* D-Don't l-leave me....! I need you! ,>,m,<,
(that's when he felt a hand gently stroking his cheek, wiping away a few tears.)
Bendy: QoQ ?! (looks down, sees that Sophie's eyes were open at last.) Sophie?
Sophie: (stares at Bendy as she slightly got up) I'm here. ÓwÒ
Bendy: QMQ (Whimpers and tackles her into a hug) SOPHIE! ,>A<,
(Though surprised at the action, Sophie carefully wrapped her arms around the small toon as tears slipped from both of their eyes, as trails of gold ink encircled around them, in response to Sophie's current emotions.)
Bendy: you're alive! you're alive!!!
Sophie: of course I'm alive! (momentarily breaks the hug, grabs both sides of his face gently) ,ÓwÒ, but the important thing is that you're okay!
Bendy: (gently grabs her hand) I'm sorry! I'm so sorry, Sophie! I just couldn't take all this anymore, and I thought things would be better for you and everyone if I disappeared. and...I was so scared I'd lose you as well because of me and-
Sophie: hey, hey, its okay. (hugs him again, placing his little head on her chest) shhh... No matter what happened, no matter what you did, Bendy... I'm just glad that you're alive. and I'm never gonna leave you all alone in a dark cruel world like this.
(They sat there for a long time as Bendy trembled under her embrace. When they broke the hug, they stared at each other and Sophie wondered if she was the only one who was reluctant to let go. still, she wiped her tears, as did Bendy.)
Sophie: it looks like I'm the one who got saved this time. that's why I'm asking you to help me find Audrey and save her.
Bendy: yeah. let's save Audrey and everyone else together. TwT
(Sophie looks at her arms, seeing that the golden patterns have changed, making them look like ocean waves of golden light. she silently thanked Joey before she and Bendy got up and went out to search for Audrey. they also wondered where did Bailey go.)
