Description
This is a continuation of sorts on my last submission ( [link] )The theme remains the same (mother nature conjuring up a horde of organic mutants comprised of the earth itself to wipe mankind off the face of the planet), but the apocalypse knob has been turned up to 11 on this one. I pretty much threw flames and rim light everywhere and just had fun over-using sci-fi/fantasy cliches ad nauseam ;]
Two finished illustrations in four days- never again!

Well, abusing the power of adding rim light and flames seems to be working to your advantage. This looks fantastic, clearly took a long time. Hope it pays off: good luck in the contest

most of it is faked at a high resolution, then shrunken down to appear intricate. i actually only spent a couple hours on it. sshhh.
rim light is best used subtly, of course, but you can make an exception for the apocalypse ;]
