some more Viewtiful Joe fanart I did last week on the road (that is to say, on sort of a family road trip... I don't really drive, and I certainly couldn't draw WHILE driving)all I know is, I've been back on the hugest VJ kick... watching the cartoon (which is on way to early for my tastes saturday morning) playing VJ 1 again, on a new game, made it to Alastor before losing my first life in hard mo.. sorry adult mode
anyway, I found subtitles episodes 25-6 on Youtube (that's all though, I still haven't seen number one) and have "brighter side" playing through my head over and over....
Look, I'm just saying Viewtiful Joe is awesome!
This is actually something I'd like to finish up, so we'll see what happens (though I have to admit, it isn't the best example of "viewtiful proportions")

Eh... I was stuck on that sub level for quite some time. Then I beat it finally, but when I moved on.... I kinda gave up again. OH WELL!!!
To many of my games I need to play more of.... but the problem is I'd really just rather play Street Fighter II.

heh, street fighter 2 is awesome, even today, but shame on you... if you can beat the sub level (possibly the hardest part) you can beat the rest in almost no time at all!
oh wait, are we talking about VJ 1 or 2... (since 1 you fight in a "sub" level and 2 you fight using a submarine six machine) if you meant 1, then yeah, I can understand you moving on... it gets harder

Did I mention that the boss of that level was so fun that I ignored the fact that I had to replay him like a zeeleon times?

They're not always the best. The fight with the megaman clone in the original isn't my favorite (that goes to the yellow devil, who is even harder). But it should be a rule.

whoa there, let's not go nuts... there's such a thing as being TOO difficult! and I'd say yellow devil in megaman 1 is in that category.
but of course, that entire game was frusteratingly difficult! lol
you'd be hard pressed to get me to play megaman 1 again!

F-Zero GX is also in that catagory (any F-Zero game really)... put it's the kind of pain I'll just keep coming back to.

Heheh, while the proportions may not be exactly "viewtiful" they are pretty cool, love the fist!
Oh man, I loved the show during it's run. It is really well done, and the characters have so much personality. It's not quite as edgy as the game, but I actually have to say I enjoy it better. ^_^;;; The evil trio were perfect "funny" villians in my opinion. The ending was... a little off, but overall the first season was well done. Shame the second will likily never see the light of day unless Cartoon Network picks it up... which won't exactly help me watch it... hmmm, anyways...
As you said, the opening is awesome, and I actually REALLY like the soundtrack aswell. "Mounting the V-Watch" Or, the "main battle theme" that plays is really powerful, they used it in the opening CG for the Red Hot Rumble game I believe.... anyways, back to the pic. XDDD
If you decide to take it farther as you said, I hope you make the scarf, clearer... XD It's just such an awesome part of his character design, it would be a shame to have it lost. I'm not saying it should be a focus, but the scarf is almost a character in my eyes. Every so often in the anime I would laugh how it would just ... be there in odd positions.
Good work on capturing his character though, the pose chosen is a good one.

Does that mean the shows over? last weekend the show wasn't on (WB) but I thought I was just unlucky...
Believe me, I'd never forget his scarf, I just didn't darken it yet. I kinda wanted to get it scanned quickly, 'cause pretty soon I'll be moved and I don't know when I'll be able to scan stuff again.
(oh, and by "viewtiful proportions" I mean viewtiful joe styled proportions, in case that wasn't clear)
