Well I'm back with more Demon Slayer start-up material. Here is Danny Williams, the younger brother of Megan Williams, previously submitted.This of course is my design for both the “younger” and “older” versions of Danny that will be appearing in the comic series I have planned, based on this wonderful fanfiction. www.fimfiction.net/story/71660…
It has taken me way too long to get around to finishing these, but I am expecting the ability to better organize my time now that we are in the new year.
The fic's author particularly loves the angle of depicting Danny as having a very close relationship with Surprise, the famous G1 pony who of course inspired Pinkie Pie. What I settled on was a bit subdued; just the two of them hanging out and staring at the clouds. I hope it suffices to get the feeling across. And naturally, in the fic set in the future, Danny finds a lot of what he liked about Surprise manifested in Pinkie Pie.
I referenced an actual stature and weight percentile growth chart, to ensure that my choices for height and weight for both younger and older versions of Danny were realistic, and what could be considered healthy. sta.sh/0153am30wfx6

WOW, this is truly amazing! Danny has ALWAYS been my top favorite character from the My Little Pony series. He's the KING! The first Brony, EVER, who LOVED ponies before they were cool!
Seeing Danny ride Pinkie Pie is SO adorable! They sure are having a good time.
It is totally true, by the way, that the part where it says that Megan treated the ponies like children or Molly who treated them like pets, Danny was most able to relate himself to the ponies on their own level.
I bet he has definitely related himself to the G4 ponies, too, as well.
The heartbreaking part was when Danny returned to Equestria, he realizes that ALL his old pony friends were long gone... especially Surprise, but then
meets Pinkie Pie who's got her soul inside and LOTS of new other pony friends.

Yes, the story's take on Danny was one of its strengths, for sure.
And Danny was certainly one of the more well-characterized characters of the G1 series. More so than Megan, surprisingly, since he actually had some decent character flaws. XD

Speaking of Danny relating/bonding with the ponies, in episodes such as "The Ghost of Paradise Estate", Danny along with the Grown-Up Ponies went to build traps to catch the ghost together, while Megan, Molly, and the Baby Ponies just decided to go look for it. And when the ghost revealed itself, Danny and the ponies started running around chasing the ghost throughout Paradise Estate together! OMG, that was the BEST part!
Danny was even close friends with Spike, too. Especially in the Episode "Spike's Search". And in "The Ghost of Paradise Estate", after the little argument with Molly and when Danny gets the idea to build ghost-traps with the Grown-Up ponies, as I mentioned, Spike followed him like he was Danny's #1 assistant! And where Danny gets the idea about defeating Squirk and Crank, he returned back to the others with North Star, Wind Whistler, Paradise, Whizzer with the nets, and Spike following Danny behind him.
I believe that Danny sure is a lot like Spike's big brother/father.

Yes. Danny got some decent representation in that show. It's funny. It's like the writers need to put on kid gloves when writing female characters. Molly needs to be cute and innocent and not really challenged in any meaningful way, and Megan needs to be the bland, motherly stand-in character for the girls watching at home to project onto.
But with Danny, there were no such gendered expectations, so I think the writers were able to have a little more fun with him. And that ultimately made him more interesting. (I mean, relatively speaking... XD)

By the way, If I was the creator of My Little Pony 'n Friends/My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, I'd made Danny the KING of Equestria/Ponyland, and Friendship. (He's the Original Brony, who showed his FIRST friendship with ponies) Danny Williams, the Supreme Leader of Equestria/Ponyland along with Twilight Sparkle. And also having adventures and all, as usual, along with Danny's sisters and the rest of Mane 6, like in the 80's show.

Ponyland: A Queen Mare: Queen Majesty. And a Human King: Danny Williams.
Equestria: Four Princess Mares: Celestia, Luna, Twilight Sparkle, Cadance. And a Human King: Danny Williams.
My ideas of Danny's appearance in MLP: FiM: He and his sisters appear young, same age, like in the 80's show. And he'd be the human boy character who's VERY beloved by the ponies, Danny gets ALL the mares, most able to bond/relate to the ponies, the BEST leader, glorious, fearless, badass, resourceful, humorous, loyal, honest, kind, flirty, helpful... get's into the BEST moments and action along with the ponies, as I said before.
He is also, of course, like a big/brother/father for Spike. And maybe... tease a little on Molly sometimes... I--I dunno! XD
OHH, I imagine that at any Bronycon, there'd be Danny Williams cosplays, and selling Danny Williams' Brony Hats and LOTS of other cool stuff of him!

Will do. I, actually, have LOTS of them to write, like I perhaps could do my own versions of the episodes of MLP: FIM, and ALL of my ideas and creations, of course, expressing them via concept art.

Indeed. I can tell that Danny's totally the type of human boy character in the MLP Universe who gets into the best moments and action along with the ponies.
Unlike Megan, Danny's also the type of good leader -- also fearless, funny, resourceful...

Not really, its a little complicated.
My characters are part of an organization that protects all worlds from this Dark Organization, so has a lot of crossover events, plus a lot of my OC characters based off many things.
They have been to many worlds, one of them was the G1 world.
In this MLP story, two members are just arriving in the new MLP world.

Not that surprised you had a similar idea. Crossovers are a fun and popular story plot to use, that's probably why a lot of people use them. The trick is to make the look good.

I never liked Surprise's hair color in the show. It looked to me like it had a "dirty/sickly" tinge of green to it. So I wanted to make it more pure yellow.
As for Danny, people change as they grow up. They come into their own after they grow older than age 10-12. I view Danny as kind of a rebellious teenager. Basically a good kid, but with certain "progressive" ideologies. XD
Your opinion is noted, and it is valid. I don't expect everyone to like all aspects of my interpretation, but I appreciate your feedback.

After I read your reply and thought about it...I guess it's more the story's fault for you drawing Danny like that ^.~ And how I now could see him using that stuff since what happened in the story (if my memory is right, I've only read it once, well only certain parts)
I guess all the new Surprise stuff with making her hair yellow and looking like Pinkie Pie has turned me more off the yellow look D= Even though I still picture in my head some of the the lyrics to "Sister Golden Hair" by America, talking about Danny and Surprise X D Since it goes 'sister golden hair surprise'...
But anyway, I loved how her hair was colored in the show, even though I wish it was a brighter color sometimes to fit with the actual hair color of the toy = D
Extra whine-y ness...with some of the comments you already have...I highly doubt he'd call himself a brony
