i love your tutorials! i just wonder what kind of brush do you use? i've always wanted the old-painting effect that your work has, and i have yet to achieve it. any tips other than the brush?

I use just ther standard soft brush. A tip, I guess, is to build up and blend as you go

wow how is it you know what skin tones to use? They just look so warm and lively.

i just experiment with skin tones.. usually blue based reflections from one side and yellow based from another.. if that makes sense?
